~Michael's POV~

I woke up to see the best face in the world, facing mine. Skylar's face, of course. She was still asleep, her mouth slightly opened. She wasn't snoring or drooling, just peacefully sleeping there.

Hey Michael.

I sighed, hearing the voices again. They've gone for a while, but they've been coming back.

Come on Michael. Listen to me, you know I'm right.

You're not right at all, please shut up. I thought to myself, not completely sure if I said it or not.

Come on Michael. I'm your best friend. I've been here all of your life. And unlike those idiots you call friends, I tell the truth.

I sighed, giving in to the voices, What do you want, this time?

Well old pal, that girl hates you. She thinks your ugly, who am I kidding? She knows your ugly. She knows you were just a one night fling. She's using you to get closer to Luke Hemmings.

I could feel the tears escaping, and I heard a muffled voice ask: "Mikey, babe? What's wrong?"

"S-sky, they're back," I stuttered.

"What's back, babe?" Skylar sat up and rubbed my back.

"Th-the voices," I stuttered once again.

Skylar looked like she understood my pain, and nodded, speaking, "Babe, I used to here them too. Trust me, whatever they say is a lie. What'd that say?"

Don't tell her old pal, or I can make you want to kill yourself tonight. Don't want that, do we?

I bit my bottom lip, shaking my head. Skylar looked disappointed, but gave a fake smile; "Babe, just trust me. Please. If you ever need to talk, I'm here. I know you think you're worthless but you're not," She gave me a real smile, "I quit cutting because of you. I'd like you to do the same."

My eyes widened, "Y-you saw?"

She nodded, "Yes. You were asleep and your bracelets slipped up. Please quit. You've showed me I'm cared about. And so are you. Michael, if you're think Luke's better than you, he's not."

"A-are you using me to get closer to him?" I suddenly blurted out.

I said don't ask or tell her! God damnit! You're in for it tonight.

I pushed aside the voices, listening to her answer; "Mike, why would I even want him back? He raped me and slapped me. I'm not getting myself into that shit again, ever. I love you. I love you a fucking lot. Why don't you understand that?"

I started crying again, and regret flashed over her face as I spoke, "They're telling me- tha-that I'm worthless. A-and you're using me. And how if I-I told you, they'd ma-make me want to kill myself."

"Babe," Skylar mumbled, hugging me tightly, "I know this isn't what you want to hear, b-but we have to get you help..."

"Wh-no!" I yelled, "You of all people should know how embarrassing this is!"

"Mikey, please," Sky frowned, pulling me back down as I tried to get up, "If I can't get you help, p-please don't kill yourself," She gripped on to me, "I-I can't loose another person I love. Please."

"Y-you actually love me?" I mumbled.

She nodded against my chest, "Yes, Michael... I do."

The voices began to go away, and become muffled. I heard a few words, but eventually they died down, and J could no longer hear them.

I defeated the voices...
