~||CHAPTER THREE: "BEST FRIEND?!"||~

~~~HAE-WON POV.~~~

Once I reached to my door step, I bid Rebecca a good bye and a warm smile as she walked to her house. Probably only a few minutes away from my house? 

Approximately a two minute walk, I believe.

"Maaa I'm homeeee!!!"

*THUD-THUD-THUD- BANG!* (SOUND EFFECTS)

As I heard the loud sounds, and I felt that my heart  almost stopped . I ran to the kitchen as fast as I could. And then I just see my mom on the floor , sitting down ideally and staring at the kitchen utensils she had dropped , which previously caused the loud noise. 

"MOM?!" I screamed in fear.

"Oh hello my sweet heart? You're back, already?" She said in a calm and embarrassed voice.

"MOM! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I ran to her, as I started to pick up all the kitchen utensils.

"Oh.. hahaha umm. I was just getting started ." She said in a calm voice.

"Getting started? With what?"

"Well.. its no biggie my sweetheart, I was just about to prepare a special lunch for our—"

"Seriously mom? You made me worry ... Aish ,please take care!" I cut her off right in the middle of her sentence.

"Don't worry about me my sweetheart, I'm fine . Sorry to make you worry my darling" She then sweetly stroked my hair and smiled at me . I kissed her on her cheek and helped her up from the floor.

"So, Maa who is this special dinner for?" I asked as my curiosity grew, because of her excitement.

"Well, as I was saying, the special lunch is for our guest who is coming later." I slowly noticed the grin slowly growing on her face as she spoke about the so called, 'guests'.

"Guests? Umm, like our relatives or something like that?"

"Well...not exactly. Its just your brothers best friend. He's about two years elder to you and he has known you for quiet some while now. He used to be in your brothers kindergarten before, but then he parted and went to a different middle school. BUT, it turns out that he is now in the same high school as you and your brother. Ohohohoo I am extremely EXCITED!!"

"Oh wow mom...I actually expected a really short answer but I guess the long one would work too" I chuckled sightly at her excitement.

I again saw her giggle in excitement as she nudged and winked at me ...okay shes pretty much acting like a young-play-ful-girl which I found soo damn adorable!

Maybe that's how I got my annoying playfulness ... yep, I definitely got it from my mom. Hehehehe...

I smirked as I saw my mom giggling as she prepared the ingredients and I once again kissed her on the cheek. I walked to my room and collapsed on my bed. I probably looked like a dead body, but meh~ whatever.

After I was done resting for a few minutes I decided to freshen up before studying for an hour , since I came pretty early from school. I had a nice cold shower and then I changed into my comfy clothes which were some white coloured pajama pants with a few black patterns on it. Since I was wearing a bottom with some black designs , I decided to wear a big black baggy t-shirt to go with it. When I finally was feeling as fresh as ever I lay on my bed for a few more minutes and then walked over to my study desk. I started revising my biology notes and then I did some of my math homework.

*DINNNNG DONNNNNNGG*

Ugh , the door. As I stood up and got out of my room , I directly headed to my door. Honestly I really hate it when people interrupt my study time!

"Aish, so annoying!" I muttered under my breath.

I peeped over to see the person through the peep hole, I saw a finger covering the hole to make sure that I would not see the person standing outside.

" Kookie!! Isn't it obvious that its you?" I screamed loud enough for my brother to hear me from the outside.

"kekeheh I don't think she knew that I was coming." I heard another voice whisper.

" Sis! Open the door!!" He yelled from the other side of the door, which was stanging standing in between us.

I quickly opened the door and he jumped and hugged me.

"Okay? So ur in a good mood?" I asked in a nervous and concerned voice.

" Duh because my best friend is gonna have lunch .. and maybe dinner with us. Heheh who knows , he might stay for a sleepover as well." He giggled and then kissed me on the cheek.

" Who it this 'best frind' of yours?"

"Apparently , I am"

My eyes widened as I saw Him...wait,

 What?

  H-h-h-he?

 M-my brothers best friend?

Face it , I'm pretty sure this is a dream. I must be dreaming right?

Damn... *mentally slaps self*

This is gonna be a long night.
