~||CHAPTER SEVENTEEN:||~

~~~KIM TAEHYUNG POV.~~~

As I opened my eyes, I adjusted my sight to the brightness of the room. I could feel myself wrapped in layers of blankets and just to finish it off, I could feel a sharp edge poke my hip along with a familiar heavy weight on my chest.

I looked around the white walls that were surrounding me and a few beds placed in a line on my left. The ceiling was high above me as I stared closely at it.

"Kim Taehyung." I heard a voice say.

"Humm?" I asked as I saw a lady wearing a white coat... I think ?

"Why did you come to school? You have a really high fever!" She whispered loud enough for me to understand.

"Umm Yeahh Im-"

"Shhuuussshh" She brought her Index finger up to her mouth and then she hushed me. I slowly saw her eyes stare at my heavy chest as I looked at her in confusion.

"She's sleeping!" She whispered again. I tried to move around the bed but instead I was too stiff to move a single part of my body.

I wriggled my hands out of the blankets and pushed myself up in a strait sitting posture and that's when I noticed her hair and chemistry books all over the bed I was sleeping on.

I could hear her almost mute snores as she held onto one of her chemistry books that was opened to reveal the periodic table. Beside that was one of her notebooks filled with questions and answers.

"She's hurt." The lady in the white coat, also known as the nurse said to me with a bitter smile on her face as I saw her pick up Hae-won's left hand.

I watched the nurse gently unwrap the white bandage with orange stains off of Hae-won's hand as my eyes widened in disbelief. There were bruises and dried blood along with some of the orange stains smudged all over her knuckles. I watched the nurse apply some medicine on the bruised hand and wrap it with a new bandage. She stood up and then disappeared to another room.

Few seconds passed and I sat there, staring at her and in the same time I also started to notice my surroundings. I was even able to notice someone's presence as his footsteps came closer. And for some reason, I dared not to look up...

"I found her on the kitchen floor..." He said with a bitter laugh.

"There was blood everywhere, and she was crying." I could hear the echo's of his footsteps as he came closer and I just stood there staring at Hae-won.

"You like her right?" He said again not waiting for my answer. And I just sat there with no response.

"So do I. So do I," He repeated.

He chuckled and came closer to Hae-won and placed a gentle kiss on Hae-won's cheek.

"You know? I've treasured her. But, I'm somewhat leaving her to you for now. After all, I know what's gonna happen. You're gonna end up leaving her for good. Huh?"

"Suga Hyung... How did you-"

"My parents and yours are business partners. Have you already forgotten?" He asked as I saw him cautiously stare at me.

"Please, don't tell her..." I pleaded.

"I'm not gonna tell her. But I'll silently watch. And if you break her heart, I will kill you." He said while looking at his own clenched fist.

He smiled at me and patted my head. He walked towards the door that leads to the exit.

"Oh and by the way... you've got another rival. Be careful. Okay?" Suga said and walked out.

Seconds later the nurse came back with some medicine and a glass of water.

"Here, drink this. Its gonna help your headache. Oh, and I forgot to tell you. I am going to be leaving first. So you can stay here until she wakes up and also once you are ready to go." She said while handing me the medicine and the class of water.

"Okay, thank you and bye. Have a safe journey!" I said to her as I watched her leave the room with her bag and other belongings.

As soon as the door was shut closed I immediately started to think to myself as Suga Hyung's words continuously began to repeat inside my head.

'Oh and by the way... you've got another rival. Be careful. Okay?'

This is the most shortest chapter everr TTOTT I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so SORRY!!!!!!

I've haven't been able to update in like...ONE WHOLE FREAKING MONTH!

I AM SO SORRY! I FEEL SO GUILTY!

Honestly... I've been crowded with soo many things lately. First of all, there's school and when there's school there's obviously A LOT of homework and then there's projects and then there's tests and other things I have to do so yeah.... im sorry!! ;-;

I'll try my best to update ASAP and I promise I'll write a longer chapter next time.
