Chapter 8

Eirian

I woke up to movement at my side.

I saw his back to me. Even his back was well built. I saw a few battle scars and traced it lightly against my finger. I heard him breathe.

"Ready for round two?" I could sense his smile even though he wasn't facing me.

I giggled. He faced me with one eye open. "Goodmorning, beautiful." His bedroom voice was oh gawd sexy.

"Right back at you, stud" I replied.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"I'm a bit sore." I bit my lip, feeling my cheeks tint red.

He kissed my forehead lightly. And breathed in my hair.

"How do you always smell like tropical sunshine?" He said with his face still buried in my hair.

"That's shampoo, idiot."

"But I'm your idiot", he smiled again.

He got up, and quickly dressed.

I frowned. "Come back here and spoon me. " I half commanded and half begged.

"You really do have a way with words, but I can't. I have to go into a meeting with the pack." He apologized.

"Oh. Right."

"You should get dressed too. It'll be breakfast soon. I'll see you downstairs ok?"

"Yeah. In a while."

He quickly got out of my bedroom.

Saphron.

I recalled last night and smiled.

"Good morning,Alpha", my beta greeted me.

"Good morning, Trooper."

"I see your mood has lightened." He said.

"I had a great night.", was my quick reply.

"Well, you know what they say, A happy man is a satiated man.", my Beta smiled knowingly.

We shared a laugh heartily as we walked towards my office.

Eirian.

Last night was just wow. I could sense my inner wolf reveling in joy and so was I.

I quickly showered and dawned on a dress. I have to get me some breakfast.

I walked downstairs to see glares upon glares from my pack. I quickly ate my breakfast not looking at them.

Mutt. Slut. Whore. Our Alpha can do way more better. He'll get bored with her soon enough. I heard them say under their breath.

What did I get myself into??

"So, you're Eirian." A middle aged woman walked up to me. She was dressed fancy. She gave me a once over and said. "You look a bit pale." She added as she raised an eyebrow.

Who was this? My wolf was getting agitated.

"You should have showered a bit longer, his scent is all over you." She said blunty and walked away.

I finished my meal quickly and
headed towards the gym. All this tension is getting into me.

On my way to the gym I heard a laugh from the hallway. I followed it and found out it was coming from his office. Funny. He never entertains guests in his office.

I peeped through the door and saw him. He was laughing as a blonde girl was all lovey dovey to him. She was dressed in a blouse with a neck line too low and if her skirt got any higher, she would have four lips to gloss.

I felt the sting of tears fighting to come out.

How could I even think I had a chance with him. He was an alpha. I dont even know where I'm from.

I needed air. I walked towards the vineyard only to see the blonde bimbo there.

"You." Her nostrils was flaring. "So, you're the bitch my Saphron was talking about."

She said my Saphron. No. He's ours. My wolf was getting angrier by the minute.

"Well, say something." She continued. "Are you the quick fuck of Saphron?" She was challenging me. I feel my blood boiling.

"You know what, dont bother, his scent is all over you. And yes, we did sleep together. More than neccesary." She said mockingly.

That was it. I raced towards my room. I cant let her see she got to me.

Saphron

I was glad Tracy was back but I can't help but cringe at her touch. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed her company but my wolf and I are mated to Eirian and Tracy was getting too comfortable.

I stopped her hand from my chest. I laughed nervously.

"I'm glad your back Tracy. And where is Aunt Lily?" I was trying to distract her.

She stopped. "Why are you so uptight? Don't you want me?" She whined.

I tensed at the thought. We were lovers before but I had to broke it off because she was acting as if she was the Luna of the pack. She bossed everyone around and I can't have that. Only my mate can be my equal.

I smiled at her. "You're lovely, but, I found someone else."

She was shocked at first, but then quickly recovered. "Let me meet her then. How will I know if you're just making up excuses to not be with me?" She said triumphantly.

She sashayed out of my office. "See you around, loverboy." She said sultry.

I sighed. I've been in my office for hours and I've been up to my neck with paperwork. I needed to see Eirian. I needed a break.
I walked up to her room only to hear soft sobbing from behind it.

I knocked. "Eirian, what's wrong?"

"Go away Saphron!"

"Eirian, please open the door. You're worrying me."

"Can't you understand english? I said go away!!" She shouted.

"Baby, please let me in. Let's talk."

I was about to leave when I heard a soft click and she opened the door. I saw her eyes were bloodshot from crying.
