Eirian (on hold)

Chapter 9

Saphron

"Have you been crying?" I asked warily.

She brushed me off and went to her bed.

"What's wrong, Eirian?", I asked again.

"Go talk to Tracy!" Wew. Someone's pissed.

I walked towards her and caressed her hair. "We're just friends. Please, whatever she said, that was in the past." I said trying to convince her.

"It just pains me knowing you slept with her." She continued.

I hugged her. I wanted to make her pain go away. "Please stop crying."

She quietly sobbed on my shoulders.
Her shoulders rising and falling.

Mark her. My wolf said, seeing her skin glisten. I was skeptical.

Mark her now. My wolf again commanded, and I did his bidding.

My canines bared and I sank my teeth to her shoulder. I bit into her flesh until I tasted the metallic taste of her blood. I felt my wolf stirring in joy as we have finally marked my mate.

She then pushed me away, I saw her eyes change from green to glowing blue.

Eirian

Pain pulsated on my shoulder as I saw what he did. My blood treckled towards my dress.

"You bit me!!" I exclaimed as I pushed him away from me.

I was so shocked and angry. I felt my body changing. 

I was shaking.  I looked at my arms and saw it sprouting silver fur. My feet recoiled a toe and then turned into paws. I was on hands and knees in pain as I felt my bones rearranging itself. I felt myself splitting as bones clicked everywhere. I closed my eyes shut.

Let it go. My wolf said to me and I welcomed the change.  I felt my heartbeat steadied, and as I opened my eyes, I saw Saphron through my blue tinted eyesight.

God that hurt!

"Eirian, are you ok?"

Yes. I think. How do I change back?  I mindlinked him as I hear myself whine.

"Imagine yourself as a human again. With hands and feet and all."

I closed my eyes and felt myself changing again. I opened them and saw him looking away.

I covered myself. I was stark naked again.

"You have some explaining to do. " I eyed Saphron as he approached me.

"It seems that me marking you woke your wolf up from dormancy."

"Yes, einstein, I meant why did you mark me?" I said tracing his bite.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to make you mine, officially."  He said making emphasis on the last word.

"I happened to like that dress." I pouted.

"I'll buy you new ones. Now, let's get you dressed before I start jumping you." He chuckled.

"This is not funny." I said raising my eyebrow.

"You're right. I'm sorry. But we really should get going. I'm gonna have to introduce you to the pack as my Luna." He said ushering me to my walk in closet.

Saphron

Seeing Eirian in her wolf form was breathtaking. Her fur sheened with silver fur and her eyes were blue orbs. 

"What are you staring at?" She said as she changes into a dress.

"I was just admiring you." I smiled.

Marking her was not in the plan but I remembered that there was to be a gathering today. Having her going around unmated could make other wolves take their claim on her and I cant have that.

Mine. All mine. My wolf was contented and so was I.

We walked towards the hall that evening. She held unto my hand and I beamed with pride as she walked with me. She held her head high like a queen and curtsied as I introduced her to all the other Alphas.

The hall was decorated in sheer festive streamers and banners. Flecks of gold and silver was adorned everywhere.

"You didn't tell me this was a big celebration. I should have dressed properly." She said shyly.

"Nonsense, you look ravishing. Every man and wolf would kill just to be your date tonight." I said assuringly.

We walked towards the patio overlooking the hall.

"Everyone, I have an announcement." All eyes were on us. I motioned her to come closer.

"Everyone, I have found my mate and my better half. I would like each and everyone of you to treat her the way you treat me as your Alpha. I present to you, the Luna of Midnight Mane pack, Luna Eirian." 

Cheers and whistles filled the hallway as I presented her to the crowd below.

"Enjoy the festivities, bring out the ambrosia!" I continued and everyone scurried off to their business.

"Wow. Luna. That's kind of a big shoe to fill." She said nervously.

"Dont worry, you'll do well."

Alpha, our sentinel have spotted a few rouges entering our territory. I'm afraid they're on their way here to the party.

Okay. Meet me and our warriors at my office. Be discreet, I do not want our guests alarm.

"I'm afraid your Luna duties starts today, I'm gonna have to leave you to our guests. " I kissed her cheek as I exited the hall.

Eirian

I walked and greeted each and everyone. I came across Tracy latching on to another Alpha.

"I see you've manage to move your way up the heirarchy." She said defiantly.

I smiled. "Well, I guess I dont have to sleep with every Alpha I meet, unlike you. " I replied.

The Alpha next to her struggled to contain his laugh.

"Well, I will not keep you from mingling, enjoy the ambrosia and your company." I said to the Alpha and quickly left.

Burn. I laughed inwardly at my victory. I'm going to enjoy being a Luna.

The festivities went on for an hour when I heard a loud commotion from the vineyard.

I went outside and saw tall figures rushing on and about. I panicked.
I was about to go back, but when I went for the door, it was locked.

I was knocking when Tracy happened to pass by. She raises her eyebrow and covered the glass door with curtains instead.

I knocked and knocked but nobody could here me over the booming of music inside.

When I was about to go the other entrance when I was lept on by a huge black werewolf. My head smacked the ground on impact and I lost consciousness.
