Brad. Holy shit!
"Um what are y-you doing here?",I stuttered tightening my grip on the sheets. He lifted his hand up. He was holding something. My shirt. He lifted his other hand which held Niko's shirt. My face flushed but I doubted he could see. I heard a door open and I knew it was Niko. Brad turned and suddenly he was pushed back.

"Niko",I screamed. I saw Brad hit the floor and Niko stood over him. I stood up and grabbed my clothes from the floor. I walked to my closet and threw on my clothes. I ran to the door to see that Niko was under Brad and Brad was punching him in the face.

"Stop",I begged. I made a grab for Brad's arm but he pushed back and I fell against the wall hitting my head. I groaned and rubbed my head. Brad stopped all of a sudden and untangled himself from Niko. He came over crouching in front of me. I looked up at him his cheek was bleeding and his lip was busted.
"Katy I'm so sorr-",he started to say but all of a sudden Niko got up and pulled him so he fell on his back. He started punching him and I begged him to stop.

"Niko please"I tried again. He stopped and turned to me his eyes narrowed in slits. I pleaded with my eyes and reach my hand out. He stilled and walked over to me taking my hand. He pulled me up and hugged me to him. Brad groaned and shakily stood up leaning against the wall.
"Get away from her"he groaned. Niko made to move for him but I held him off. I looked up at him and gasped. One of his eyes was swelling and his lip was bleeding. He smiled but it never reached his eyes.

"Katy come here ,stay away from him he can't hurt you anymore",Brad begged. Both Niko and I snapped our eyes to Brad.
"What do you mean hurt me he hasn't done anything to me",I asked confused.
"He's manipulating you so he can have sex with you",he said flinching as he touched his cheek. I stopped breathing and pulled away from Niko. I stared confused at Niko and he just shook his head.

"Please tell me you didn't sleep with him",Brad said as I walked over to stand next to him.
"N-no",I said staring at Niko.
"Thank God it would have been a huge mistake"Brad said relieved. I looked over at Niko he was staring at the floor fists clenched.

"Tell her Niko",Brad said sternly. I looked between him and Niko confused.
"Don't do this Brad",Niko said clenching his jaw.
"If you don't tell her I will and I will tell Angie about this",he said taking a step forward. My head was spinning as I stared between them. Oh God please don't tell Angie.
"What are you guys talking about?",I asked. Niko looked at Brad and shook his head. He walked over to the couch and put his head in his hands and cursed.

Brad came forward and stood in front of me. He smiled apologetically and squeezed my shoulder. I took a deep breath waiting for the explanation.
"I'm actually Angie's ex-husband",he said. I gasped and pulled back. The room began to spin and Brad had to steady me with his hands. He led me to the couch and sat me down. I closed my eyes trying to process what he just said.
"She's not ready",Niko murmured.
"Yes she is"Brad replied sternly.
"Just go on",I begged eyes still closed.
"We divorced two years before you moved in, so I knew Niko and what Niko had done"he said. My eyes fluttered opened for a second but I quickly looked down at my hands when I met Niko's eyes. He looked mortified.

"I have a sister she was 16 and Niko had been 21 at the time and he slept with her and then broke it off",he said and I looked up as he glared at Niko.
"My sister was heart broken and that same year two months after they had slept together me and Angie broke it off",he said. He came over and kneeled down in front of me. His blue eyes sad and tired.

"I just don't want that to happen to you Katy I want you to be different.",he pleaded with his eyes.
"I think you should go now Brad",Niko said standing up. I sat there shock my hands shaking in my lap. Brad stood and gave me a big hug that I didn't return. He walked to the door and stepped out but not before Niko could say something to him. Brad just nodded and Niko closed the door. Before he could say anything to me I ran to my room slamming the door and locked it. I threw myself on the bed cried.

Niko knock on the door begging for me to let him in. I didn't respond.
"You were different",he begged. I cried harder and told him to go away.
"Please Katy you were different I promise",he said.
"Please-e go Niko you're hurting me",I sobbed. He stayed quiet for a few minutes.
"You were different",he said and then I heard footsteps and what I'm guessing was the front door being slammed shut.
