The next couple of days were really good. Niko and I got along great. We didn't fight and we didn't argue. We talked and got to know each other better. I learned that he had gone to college in California but he had dropped out because of some problems. I know that his favorite color is blue and he loves to work out. Angie loved that we got along but I could see the worry in her eyes that at some point he would leave. He hadn't gone out to party since that day though.

Brad had stopped by a couple times. Each time he looked at me his eyes were worried. I just smiled at him and nodded. One day Niko,Angie,Brad, and me were sitting in the living room watching TV when there was a knock on the door. Angie stood and opened the door. I gasped. It was Raphael. I felt Niko tense beside me on the couch. I ignored him and walked to the door. Angie stepped away and I walked into the hallway closing the door behind me.

"Um hi",he said looking down at his shoes.
"Hi?",I said confused as to why he was here after everything that had happened.
"I just..uh wanted to come by...and apologize",he said looking up. To say I was surprised was and understatement.
"You don't have to apologize I'm the one who has to"I said the shock clear in my voice. He shook his head and rubbed his neck.
"No its me who has to apologize I overreacted and it wasn't your fault its just that...",he trailed off.
"Just what?",I asked.
"I like you a lot OK and the fact that you could have a boyfriend totally pissed me off and I was way out of line and I'm sorry",he rambled his cheeks flaming.

"I don't have a boyfriend",is all I said to him. He nodded and shifted from foot to foot uncomfortable. I was still awed that he liked me. I mean its just that he had never really given me any signs after we broke it off.
"So..I was wondering...Would you like to go on a date with me?",he said meeting my gaze. I stared at him dumbstruck. Did he just ask me out? Yes!! My subconscious hissed. He looked down.
"I get it if you don't it was stu-",he started but I cut him off.
"Yes",I said quickly.
"Really?",he asked a smile lighting up his whole face. I giggled and nodded.
"Ok um tomorrow ok I'll pick you up",he said and gave me a quick hug.
"Wait where are we going?",I asked as he walked to the elevator.
"Its a surprise",was all he said and the doors closed.

I stood in the hallway a couple minutes trying to process what had happened. Ok so he had asked me out and I had said Yes. Why had I said yes? I know I didn't like him in the way. I mean he was super sexy and everything but he wasn't Isaiah or Niko.... I shook my head. I had just not thought of Niko. Whatever. I'm going on the date with Raphael. I took a deep breath and stepped inside.

The minute I closed the door Angie asked me a million questions.
"Who was that?"
"What's his name?"
"Is he gay?"
"Is he straight?"
"Are you guys going out?"
"Why didn't you invite him in?"
"What did he want?"
"Woah woah calm down Angie",Brad said covering Angie's mouth playfully. I laughed and looked over at Niko. His face was completely blank as he stared back at me. I looked away and turned back to Angie.

"That's my friend, his name is Raphael, he's not gay, he's straight, we are not going out, he had to leave, and he invited me on a date."I said rushing the last part. But Angie caught on.
"OMG KATY HAS A DATE",she squealed jumping up and spinning me around.
"Its just a friendly date",I said praying that she would believe it. She stopped dancing and turned to me smiling.
"Sure, so a cute guy is going to come all the way over here just to ask you out on a "friendly" date.",she said. I rolled my eyes and took a seat next to Niko. He moved slightly closer to me and I turned to look at him. He smiled at me his green eyes twinkling. My heart beat sped up and I had to look away.

"So how long have you known this kid?",Angie said taking a seat on the floor in front of me.
"I don't know maybe two years"I muttered.
"How come I never heard of him?"she said staring at me curiously. I looked down nervously. She couldn't know that I had lost my virginity to him she would lose it. I know she knew I wasn't a virgin but she had never said anything about it.
"Well where are you going?",she asked.
"Its a surprise",I answered and smiled.

"Oooo",Angie said.
"Ugh can we just drop it",Niko groaned. Angie smacked his knee playfully.
"Just cause Katie has a date and you don't",she said and laughed. I turned to see Niko rolling his eyes.
"Trust me I can get a date",he smirked. My stomach dropped a little when he said that. I ignored it though. I was given a chance to get over Niko and I was going to take it. Raphael was perfect. I remembered the first time we met. He had been dared to come over and grab my ass. The minute he did it I turned ready to slap him but he apologized so fast I stopped. He was so adorable that I couldn't bring myself to hit him.

After that we became the best of friends but I never brought him over or talked of him in front of Angie. I wanted to keep him out of my fucked up life I didn't want him to runaway. I had been a rebel back then. I have done a lot of shit that I should regret but I don't. They were my choice so I shouldn't regret them. We had been friends for four months and one day he had come on to me. We had been at a friend's party at the time. That's actually were I first met Isaiah. Anyways we had gone upstairs unnoticed and we walked to one of the bedrooms. We made out for a while both of us too nervous to do anything else. I went to sit on his lap when I felt how hard he was. A moan escaped my lips and next thing you know we had sex. Twice.

We tried to date but we broke up after two weeks. It was mostly my fault though I always pushed him away. I was doing a lot of bad things and I didn't want to drag him down with me. And then I met Isaiah and he completely changed me. He made me better even though Angie totally ignores that part she only sees the bad in him. But here was my second chance. My second chance with Raphael.

I snapped out of my daze when Angie started shaking my shoulder. I looked down at her confused.
"What did you say?"she asked. I shook my head. What had I said?
"You said Raphael",she said smiling. I blushed. Had I really? I looked over at Niko and he nodded I noticed one of his hands clenched into a fist on his lap.
"Oh sorry I didn't know",I said fidgeting with my fingers.
"Anyways I was wondering if you could tell him to come early so we can have dinner"she said pleading with her eyes.
"Who?",I asked still confused.
"Raphael",she said. I heard Niko let out a growl but no one else seemed to notice.
"Yeah, sure I will",I said nodding. Niko got up and walked to his room. Angie raised her eyebrows but didn't say anything.
