Ben was sprinting down the hall shouting. He never did anything like this but today he was late. Very late.
"I overslept! I overslept!" He shouted as he ran, zooming past everyone.
Mal was standing outside her locker, which had been recently painted to a new design. The Fairy Godmother's wand as the background with some words that read "I Choose Good."
"Where are you going?" She asked as she shut the locker and turned to Ben, who was out of breath and leaning against his locker.
"Just to ask you something before you leave on vacation tomorrow." He smiled that sweet smile Mal loved to see and knew she'd miss when she left.
"What now? You want something?" Mal turned and looked at Ben with a bit of worry in her eyes. "Ben?"
She saw Ben staring up at her from his place, down on one knee. She gasped.
"Will you, Mal, have the honor of taking me, King Ben, to the prom?"
"Yes!!!!!!!!!!" Mal jumped up and down screaming. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!" She suddenly stopped, realizing how weird that was and said "Yeah, sure."
"What's going on?" Jay appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, at Mal's side. He was breathing hard and his face was red.
He looked down at Ben. "Woah. Am I interrupting something?"
"No!" Shouted Mal, blushing hard. But before she could explain Jay bolted away down the hallway into a series of backflips, shouting at people to move it.
"What was that?" Mal wondered but then she saw Carlos, running down the hall with Dude sprinting in front of him yelling at Jay.
"Jay! You get back here and give me back all my candy!!!" Little did he know that he ran right past Jay, who got distracted by some girls standing around in the hall.
"Hey. I'm Jay."
"And I'm Carlos."
"And I'm dead!" Jay was outta there.
"That was weird." Said Ben turning back to Mal. "So..."
"Yes." Mal smiled and hugged Ben.
Things couldn't get any better.
A/N: So here it is, the long awaited and very elusive Chapter 2! There was more Bal Action. What about Jay and Carlos? They're the best aren't they....
