Avia P.O.V

My mum came waking me up at 7:30 it was to early I didn't get much sleep because I only went to bed at 11.
"Come on get your team shorts and Jacket on we need to go" Mum said opening my blinds. I got up and put on my clothes and my trainers. We had to go to my studio first to collect my costumes and catch the coach that Zoe rented.
"Get your drink its in the fridge" Mum said
"How far away is the comp" I asked
"Well it will take about an hour to get there sweet and we can go in the dressing room at 11" mum said finding the car keys.
"So what are we doing before" I asked
"I think she is going to have one run threw at the studio first then we can go" mum said walking to the front door "come on"
We got into the car and drove to the studio. When we arrived everyone was already there waiting for Zoe outside,
I ran up to my friend and hugged them all
"Omg guess what" Lilly said
"What" we all said in unison
"Well my mum told me that studio you know who have won their last comp and are really cocky just because they have won like 5 comps, yah well there gonna be there." Lilly said
"Well we need to win them"  Natalia said,
"Deffo" the rest of us said walking into the studio because Zoe had arrived. We went into practice room 1 whilst our mums sorted out our costumes. We practiced our dances and then Zoe told us to sit down so we could have a team talk.
"Right girls you know today's important we need to beat this studio and show them were the best team in the south. Whatever happens today if you loose or forget your dance know that I still love each and everyone of you like my own but you need to try your hardest and we should be coming home with our two soloests Avia and Lacey in first and second and the group in first." Zoe said and brought us all into a group hug. The bus arrived and we all pilled on. I sat next to Blakely since we were dance best friends all the girls were my best friends but me and Blakely just clicked well that's what our mums said. We listened to music together and took stupid selfies. I put one on Instagram where we were doing the duck face looking at each other and put: Off the dance comp with Blakely and the team wish us luck 🌟. A few moments later Jai liked my photo then sent me a text saying: Good luck today beautiful kick ass on stage👯 Love you forever and always💙
"Your so lucky to have 3 big brothers" Blakely said looking at my phone
"Ino but trust me half of the time I wish they weren't my brothers and they with I wasn't their sister" I said laughing.
I replied to Jai: Thank you I will kick ass just for you JJ I love you💖
We just listened to music the rest off the way and talked about random stuff. Once we arrived we all put our team jackets on we were quite early and so were the other team, sdp, they gave us dirty looks when we walked in and I just stuck my tongue out. We set our stuff down and Zoe told us to stretch so we all lined up against the walls and sat in splits. And then we did this thing what we call do dominos were we line up and then the person at the end does and trick and then we all copy in a line. I did a back walk over and then saw that spd were copying us so I did something else a back handspring and they copied and looked at us like we were daft so I a back tuck and all of my team copied but the other team do it only one of them but it wasn't proper and all of our team could so are mums started cheering. But they hadn't finished yet they did an Ariel so we all copied then did a front Ariel witch they couldn't do. Then we got the key to our dressing room, which was kinda big. We had this thing that you could pull out and it had six mirrors and lights with a table each for all of us. We all sat down in our places and our mum did our makeup. I had to but on a lot of concealer to cover up my bruise, mum put me some mascara and eyeliner on and a bit of blush. She then did my hair in a tight high ponytail then curled it. You could still tell I had a bruise but ey well. All the girls looked great and told us all that we looked great. Mum told me to stand on my own and smile for a picture so I did then all my team joined and we all did silly poses. I had a little bit of time before I had to go on so I checked my phone and mum had tagged me in to pictures one on my own saying: My baby ready for her comp🌸 and then one with my team: These daft girls looking beautiful as always😋
Me and Lacey had solos so we got into our costumes she had a really pretty blue one on and I had a lace pink and black one on which I really liked. We then had a team talk then Zoe took me and Lacey up to the stage Lacey was going first then it was a girl from spd then me. I wasn't nervous because I have never lost and I'm a brooks. Lacey just finished and she did amazing
"Well done Lacey that was great" I said and Zoe came up to us to take her back
"Show um my little fire cracker" she said before going. Zoe always called me that because when we got judges feedback which we got by choice they always said I was a fire cracker and a performer. The spd girl had finished and she was okay but she was really cocky and came off and said
"Beet that little girl"
"Oh trust me I will watch me" I said before walking on the getting in my starting position. I started to dance and looked at the judges who were smiling which was a good thing and my mum was recording me. The girls from spd were at the bottom watching me and looked shocked. I finished and the crowd cheered and I ran off and ran to Zoe but before I got there said to the spd girl
"Told you keep your mouth shut next time"
I ran to Zoe and she hugged me and then went to my mum
"That was great sweet like always" she said kissing my head
We had to rush back and put on our group costumes which were sparkly and pink. We got dressed and ran to the stage just in time because w were next after spd who didn't look very good I guess there winning streak was over. My team got in our starting positions and started to dance and we did great. We were the last team in our age group so then they had to do to more age groups then scores so we just stayed in the dressing room and messed about.
"Avia your brothers on the phone come here" mum shouted
"Coming" I said and ran to the phone

B:Hello av how did you do
A:Hi Beau I did good we are waiting for scores
B:Well done Luke wants to talk to you
A:Thanks okay
L:Hi babe
A:Hello Luke
L:Do you have singing tonight
A:Yeah but it's at 7 instead because we only get back at 6
L:Okay well I'm going to meet you there cause I need to film you for your channel

I eneded the phone and passed it back to my mum and then we all got dressed back into our team jackets and shorts ready for awards. It was time for awards and me and my team were sat at the front of the stage holding hands waiting for our turn because there were two more age groups below us. They finally got to our age group they were doing solos first. They went from 6th to 1st
"Fourth place goes to Veronica small with fire" the announcer said
Ha spd came fourth, I was very happy about that
"2nd place goes to Lacey Heaven with Wild" The announcer said then Lacey ran up and everyone cheered
"And our winner is............. Avia Brooks with boss" they announcer said and I shot up and ran up next to Lacey to get my trophy and plaque.
"Congratulations Avia what studio are you from" She asked
"Melbourne Dance Studio" I shouted
Mum was taking lots of pictures of me like always. They did the other age groups and then started again with the groups. Spd came fifth this time, ha.
"In first place is........ Mds with whistle while you work" she said and we all jumped up to get our trophies. We got off stage and we were all engulfed in a huge hug from Zoe
"Well done girls another win" she said
Mum took a lot of pictures of me with my trophies and then we headed home on the bus. Once we got to the studio I saw Luke standing outside with some other girls who looked like fans so I ran up to him and he picked me up and hugged me
"Awwwww" all the girls said
"How did you do" he asked
"I won first in my solo and group" I said
"Well done baby" he said putting me down
"Hey Luke can we have a picture with Avia" A girl asked
"Sure go on av" Luke said
I stood in between the girls and smiled the Luke joined in and picked me up.
"Thanks girls see you soon" Luke said as they walked away
"Who were they" I asked
"Fans" he said still holding me. I rested my head in the crook of his neck and yawned I was really tired.
Luke took his phone out and took a picture for snapchat he put: I must be comfy haha love her. Luke had to go and help mum get my trophies and bag so I went into the studio because my singing teacher was already there. We practised masterpiece first then Luke and mum came in because they were aloud to sit in the room for singing.  Luke got his camera out and set it up to film me I started to sing and he followed me with the camera. After I finished I felt out of breath and my chest hurt which was unusual but I didn't tell mum  because I didn't want any fuss before the premier. I sit down and drink my water to try and make the pain go away but it only worked abit.
"Babe what's up" mum asks
"Nothing I'm just tired can we go" I lied
"Sure come on then" mum says and gets my trophys. Luke walked over to me with his camera in one hand and held one of his hands out to hold me in.
"tired?" He asked
"Yeah" I said
We walked out and there were fans again wanting pictures.
"Omg Luke I love you so much and Avia your so cute can we get a video doing a back tuck" A girl asked me and Luke put me down and we did a back tuck together. I ran back over to Luke and he picked me up again.
"How do they know my studio" I asked him
"Someone saw you and one of us walking in once." He said kissing my cheek
Mum put the trophys in the car and then we drove home. I walked into the house and my chest was still abit sore and I couldn't breath properly but I didn't want to tell mum.
"Hey Av did you win" Jai asked picking me up.
"Yeah two firsts" I said
"Yes well done baby" he said sitting down with me on his knee
"Hey Beau I was thinking of doing something for your birthday next week" Mum said walking I to the kitchen to Beau, I followed her in because I wanted to see what she was talking about
"Well I thought we could have family bbq with like Nono Nonna aunties uncles cousins and your mates and Av could have a few" mum said
"Yeah sounds good" Beau said hugging me
"I can't believe my first baby is going to be 22" mum said hugging us both "And my little superstar I'm so proud of you"
"Love you mum" I said hugging her
"Hey mum can we got to the beach tomorrow I wanna take some pictures" Luke asked
"Sure thing but we will have to go early it's a 2 hour drive" mum said walking into the living room. I sat down on my own and snapchatted Riley. I took a silly face and said
Hi Riley
We snapchatted for a while and then I got a notification off Jai on Twitter it was a picture of me taking a silly selfie and he put: What is she doing ahaha cutie
"JAI TAKE THAT DOWN" I stood up and shouted at him
"No it's cute" he laughed
"Ugh I'm going to bed" I said walking to my room
