Her hand shook as she reached into her pocket and retrieved a packet of cigarettes, salty floods escaping her emerald green eyes. She placed the unlit cigarette in her slightly open mouth and lit it with one simple click of her lighter. Dark hair cascading over her pale face as she collapsed onto the cold hard ground. A light sprinkling of rain began to fall over her. The street was silent. Long limbs wrapped up into a tight ball in the middle of the dark lonely street. She raised her head as the rain began to fall heavier, the long awaited water, hiding her tears. It wasnt often Alaska Young cried, but when she did, she did it beautifully.

She combed her long dark brown hair with her slender fingers, resting her now heavy head upon her knees. Inhaling the thick smoke from the burning stick of death in her hands, the sweet nicotine seeping into her body and filling her with relaxation.

A stern hand wrapped around her thin shoulder. "Are you okay?" A deep voice emerged from the figure that stood above her.
