Night Together

~Gray POV~

I heard a knock at my apartment door. It must be him~ I was happy. I walked over to the door and opened it. There he was! "Natsu! Hey!"

Natsu was smiling. Nervously, I could tell. He wasn't used to me being so upbeat like this. Hell, even I wasn't.

"Hey, Gray. I'm here." That smile of his was so adorable.

"Happy Birthday, bro!" I went and hugged him. He squeezed me back. "Thanks Gray!"

"Come in~"

We sat down and talked. "Gray" he began "I'm glad you invited me here... I never thought you would."

I smiled at him "buddy, why wouldn't I? You're my best friend. And I wanted to give you a nice 21st birthday. And I feel bad because I didn't know what to get you for it..."

Natsu waved his hands back and forth "oh no no no! I don't need anything! Honest! I'm just happy to be here with you. We never spend time together."

"Good~ do you want anything?" I asked him.

"I dunno..." He looked down a little "I know this is weird of me to ask, but, do you have any Sake?"

I admit I was a little shocked he asked something like that. "I actually do have some... Do you, um, want any?"

"Yes, please..."

"Oh. Okay~ stay here." I walked to the kitchen not too far away. I came back a minute later with the SAKE and a glass.

"How much do you want? Alot, A little, or-" he cut me off.

"Halfway, I guess. Thank you." He smiled at me. I really needed him to stop being so cute before I squeezed him to death.

I poured it halfway. Not gonna say half full or half empty because reasons.

Natsu quickly took a drink and put it down. "Thanks again..."

"I didn't know you drank..." I said in a questionable fasion.

"I don't alot. But I do." He said it so seriously. Then "I wanted to ask, where am I gonna sleep tonight?"

The words just came out "You can sleep with me." I then realized what I just said. Now I wanted to die. I thought he'd be all rude about it.

But, he didn't. "I'd love to." He said with a smile.

I was literally internally screaming with happiness. But I chose not to show it.

The two of us decided to drink and talk until an hour later when it was almost midnight.

"Gray....?~" Natsu was getting a little drunk. "I wanna sleep~ can I sleep now~? With yoooouuuu...?~"

I gotta admit, that was kinda freaky. I didn't expect him to he the blushy drunk. I'm more of a sexual drunk so I decided not to drink so much. I couldn't risk it.

"S-sure..." I could remember being a little drunk, but not too much. I was still pretty aware.

Natsu was walking down the hall to my bedroom. "Sleep~ sleepy time~" he chirped. Hah. He's such a weirdo.

When he got into my room he started stripping almost instantly. I knew he was one of those guys like me who sleeps shirtless, so I wasn't surprised at first. But then he started to take off his pants so i got a little frightened.

When I took my shirt off, he started to pull off his underwear, so I quickly put that to a stop. I grabbed him. I could feel the heat of my blush on my face. "P-please keep your underwear on..."

"Aww..." He sighed. How drunk was he!? Did I lose track? "I wanted to be like Gray and strip!" He hiccuped.

I told him "w-well not tonight.... Okay....?"

"Aww~ okay~!" He flopped into the bed. He was so cute I couldn't take it.

I layed down by him. He grinned at me and poked my face. "Gray? Why aren't you naked?"

"Wh-what!?"

"You must be better with that stripping habit of yours... Oh too bad..." He sighed.

I started to fall asleep then he clung on me. "cUDDLE!" How could I say no? He was  pretty warm, and I liked that.

It didn't take long before the two of us fell asleep.

Natsu's body heat knocked me out pretty fast.

Before I drifted to sleep, I thought about how I was going to tell him. Tell him how I felt. I had to be ready... I had too...
