* Alexia's POV

When I get up, it is 5 in the evening. I look in the mirror and understand why people were staring at me. I have the same mark from my belly on my face. The black sunshine-like rays of lines start at my cheekbones and nose, and extend out to my forehead. I lift my hair and see that it goes under my hairline. Out of fear I back up, right into another person. Immediately I freak out, there wasn't supposed to be another person in my hotel room! I try to hit him, but I am frozen with fear. He raises a hand, in it a devise. I slowly walk backward, unable to do anything else. I then slip on a towel in the hotel bathroom, as I fall, I feel pain strike my head and pass out.

I woke up in a restaurant. I look around and see a black jacketed man staring at me. "Soon you will be mine." His voice deep. He pulls out a gun and last second I duck and sprint to the back of the Mexican restaurant. Instantly the man chases me with the gun still in his hand. I turn the corner and stop immediately, noticing an African american man about my age sprinting towards me yelling, " Alexia behind you! " I turn around and stare in horror as the guy in a black jacket pulls out a knife, raises it, and pulls it down. I scream and get pushed making me fly sideways, I feeling a sharp pain on my arm as I land on the cold tile floor. I look at my shoulder and I'm surprised to see no knife. I look behind me and the jacketed man fades into the shadows maliciously laughing. Where his feet were laid the African american man. I scrambled over to him on my hands and knees and see the knife stuck in his chest, right where his heart is. His dark brown beautiful eyes gazing into mine. "What can I do to help, should-should I take it out?" I bring out my phone to dial 911, my hands shaking. I press the power button and  a battery sign appears showing my phone is dead. ' I gotta get to a phone', I frantically thought. Think. I'm in a restaurant...up front there should be a phone! As I stand up to go up to the front I feel a hand on my ankle. "Eeee!" I look down and see the nearly dead person holding  on to my ankle. I sat down next to him. He struggled to bring his mouth to my ear, but once he did so he whispered softly, "When you have no other way, sacrifice the one you love most to save the most important thing to you." He then collapsed onto my lap, limp, his last words spoken.

My eyes flutter open, all I feel is wet strands rolling down my cheeks.
