Discovering

I wake up to darkness and am laying on a cold, hard floor. "Is anyone there! " I yell to the darkness. I get up, and search for my phone. I don't feel it in my pants and yell, " You better not have taken my phone, that thing cost me 100 dollars. It took me two years to pay for that! " I move my hands around to look for my bag, because I remember I packed a flash light. Instead of finding my bag, I grip something bulky and rubber. I realize it goes up to a more skinnier part. Then I feel two of them and realize they're feet, but it's too late. I struggle as my face gets covered with a hand that feels rough, must be a guy. He's dragging me backward and I try to wiggle out of his arms, but my whole body aches. He then puts something pointy and cold to my neck, I feel a pinch, and I fall asleep.

I look up and see the back of the man. He is driving the car we're in using a keyboard( not looking at the road). He's standing up because there are not any seats.I look down at my "seat". ' What am I sitting on?', I think to myself. "Nothing ." ...Wait,did he just talk? " Yes... and before you ask how, it's very complicated." If he knows what I'm thinking then he'll know what I'm going to say on three. One...Two...Three! "UNICORN!", they both say at the same time. " Wow, wait stop saying everything I'm saying. No you stop! The sparkly ruthless fire breathing baby loving dragon unicorn! " His voice is deep, he's close to my age because every once in while his voice cracks. He is tall and very muscular, he is dark skinned and has little dark brown sprinkles as hair. It's a lot darker than my Root Beer vanilla colored hair. I can't see his face, but I can tell by the back of his jaw he's probably scowling. He isn't the kind of person that either looks happy, sad, or tired like I do.  He then looked at me with the same device in his hand at the hotel. "What are you doing?" "Hold still." He brought the device closer to my face. "STAY AWAY FROM ME", I squealed while standing up. "Take your clothes off." "Heck no." "Just your shirt and pants." He said like it was normal to demand people to take their clothes off. I'm wearing a dark blue jumpsuit and black steel-toed boots, the exact same thing he was wearing. "What am I wearing...OH MY GOSH, DID YOU DRESS ME INTO THIS TRASH CAN SMELLING JUMPSUIT!!!" "What NO!!" "Then how did I get in this? And why are you wearing it too?" "Do you remember when you were in the dark? Well, I got dumped there too. At the hotel I had this device and I was trying to erase the marks from your body." " What are they?" "The marks are from a species called the Silence. They marked you when they caught you from your two story fall. My friend, Mark, tackled them and I caught you. They wanted to dissect you, the marks mean that they'll dump you in a room and dissect you later. I put you on a bench so you could sleep and later I would get the marks off of you. Then one of the silence tried to kill you right then and there so I led him away from you. I caught up with you at the hotel and was going to erase the marks. But, Mark betrayed me by telling me that he would get you caught up on everything, instead he led the Silence straight to us. Any questions?" "So you saved me 3 times?" "Actually 4 times, once when you were 12. You were unconscious for most of it that's why you barely remember it." This guy knew too much about me, how? "What's your na-" wait a minute, he looks familiar. I've seen him somewhere. He was injured or dying. Oh no, no, no. He was the man that died in my dream, but how? I start to cry at the memory of his sacrifice for me. " It's impossible, it was a dr-dream you were f-fake".  I start to cry harder, suddenly I feel to arms wrap around me. There's silence  as I cry, I've never been a noisy crier. When I was young  Veronica never liked me crying, if she heard me it was a week without supper. So I  cry silently.
