Captured

Are you okay

It had been a few days since their mission that got Wall and Artemis captured by the shadows. He had not seen Artemis around the building or prison block in the times he had been brought to questioning (this was what the shadows called being totured.) But today was different from all the others because when he walked into the questioning room he found his team mate and crush in her uniform but it was ripped all over he could see all the scars decorated cross her abdomen and stomach and arms and legs. What made this worse that there was a pool of blood beneath Artemis and he couldn't tell if she was conscious or not. What Made him even more sick were the scars that were from the other days of her being totured and the fact the there was blood (undoubtedly hers) on Sports Master and Cheshire and they had bloody weapons in their hands. When he heard a soft whisper of his name that was his name he tried to run to her but Cheshire held a knife to her throat that was bleeding.
"You come any closer or make smart ass comments she won't heal for a very very long time or perhaps never" said Cheshire
So instead he said "I'm here Arty I'm here"

The last thing I hear before I slip out of consciousness was Wally saying 'I'm here Arty I'm here'

*Flash Back*
The mission started off well just a simple get information and then get out. But of course it wasn't that easy Artemis and robin had been sent to gather the information by themselves with kid flash and miss Martian waiting in the bio-ship if they needed help. Artemis thought every thing was going well until she heard a gun fire she was to late to get to robin before he had been shot in the thigh. Artemis knew that they had to get out of here so she contacted Megan she heard in the background Wally saying he'll super speed out to get us. When Wally arrived seconds later and she saw the expression of the state of his best friend she knew he felt terrible for Robin. I knew Wally would not be able to get both of them back to the bio-ship at the same time.
"Wally go take Robin and get him to the bio- ship I'll stay behind and distracted them."
Wally was hesitant but he knew better to argue with her. So he picked up Robin and super sped away.
That's when things got even more wrong the next thing she knew she was on the ground struggling to get away from the assailant. Once she gets away she realizes who it was Cheshire and Sports Master with a bunch of goons. She puts up a fight to give Wally a chance to get back to help her
"If you ever want to see your crush teammate and friend again then I suggest you stop fighting because what ever hit we take he'll get two cuts baby girl" said sports master with a grin

"I don't have a crush on him" I said angrily but because she started blushing she knew they knew that she was lying

After I saw Artemis laying unconscious below me I got mad and went after Cheshire and Sports Master even with the inhibitor collar on. Within seconds Wally was on the ground and being beaten by Sports Master and Cheshire. All of a sudden I saw something flutter open and I realized that it was Artemis' eyes opening.

"Leave him alone" Artemis screamed with panic I her voice. He hadn't noticed that they had started cutting his skin with a sword probably because he was trying to figure out if Artemis was okay or not

"So this is what sets you off huh little sister torturing friends and crushes" Cheshire says before Artemis could stop it Wally saw a blush creep on to her neck and face. Wait little sister? This must be why she isn't open about any of her feelings and why she doesn't like to talk about her family.

"Sorry baby girl but that's how this business and stop blushing it's a sign of weakness" Sports Master took this opportunity to cut Wally because they had finally found her weakness him. But why did sports master call her 'baby girl' it must have been her dad
he made a mental note to ask her later

"Just stop hurting him" Artemis cried. Now Wally started to get deeper and deeper cuts on his legs. Wally thought he saw sports master pull something black and yellow out of one of his pockets.

"Baby girl unless you want him to get tasered then I suggest you stop crying and talk"

"Don't do it Arty don't do it" said in a strangled and pained voice

"Wally they are hurting you to badly you may not survive the electricity in your veins" said in between sobs

"If I survive then I'll take you out to dinner" Wally said then she heard the electricity in the taser and his body squirm from the electricity. When sports master stopped the taser . Artemis ran I've to Wally and held his squirming body and caressed his hair and hoping that he would survive.
