Ch. 19

"Awh! That Luka-lookalike octopus is so adorable!" I squealed slightly. Rin giggled at my fangirl over the octopus. Rin stepped a bit close to the window, cupped her eyes with her hands and looked inside. I titled my head, "Rin, what are you doing?" Rin glanced at me, "I'm trying to see if anyone is inside."

"Any luck?" I asked her.

"Yup, Luka's inside wearing an apron. Miku is inside as well. I guess they aren't open yet." Rin replied, as her breath could be visible.

Even though, I've given my sweater to her, she must be still cold. It's her fault that she forgot grab her own, but it's my fault that I've given mine to her. I'm cold now!

"Let's go inside, before you turn into a popsicle." Rin said quickly, walking to the door to open it. Once the door open, the bell that was attached to it rang. Rin and I entered the café.

When we entered, Luka and Miku were in front of us with their heads down. "I completely apologize, but we're not open yet." Miku said calmly yet strong. Rin and I glanced at each other before we started laughing. Luka slowly looked up, her eyes widen and her lip formed a smile. "It's only Rin and (Y/N).  Aha, I completely forgot you two were coming." Luka straighten herself, as did Miku. Miku's face was lightly red, I guess she got embarrassed when she acted like a maid to us.

Rin teased Miku by acting like a lady, "You're not open yet? Oh dear, I didn't know!" Rin giggled as Miku yelled at her with a bright red face.

"Rin, stop teasing Miku. Miku you may go home now. You did a great job." Luka said to the two girls. Miku nodded, removed her apron and grabbed her bag before leaving the café. Rin made a sad sigh, "You never let have any fun." Luka chuckled cheerfully.

"What was Miku doing here, Luka?" I asked her. Luka looked over at me, "She's going to be one my new maids at the Tako Café." Tako Café... So that's the name of this place. Rin's eyes widen, "You were hiring maids? Why didn't you tell me?" Luka then looked over to Rin, "Rin, you're a little too young to start working at this café. I have an age limit." Rin pouted, her bottom lip was out and her cheeked were puffed out like a chipmunk when it has food stuffed in mouth.

Then a phone went off, it scared all three of us. "I-It's mine.." Rin mumbled, she took her phone out from the back pocket and read who it was from. Her eyebrow crossed, her teeth grind each other, her hands turned into tight fists. I've never seen Rin so mad. Luka glanced at her, knowing who it might been.

"I'll take this.. I'll be outside, Luka can I get some orange juice?" Rin asked as she headed to the door. Luka nodded, then looks at me. "Oh.. I'll have some water." Luka nods again and walks away to get the drinks. When she returned I asked her, "What's wrong with Rin? I've never seen her that pissed before."

Luka sighed. "It's her ex-boyfriend."

"Ex-Boyfriend? Who's that?" I tilted my head.

Luka glanced at me with sadden eyes, "Mikuo Hatsune, Miku's older brother."
