Ch. 20

My eyes widen, Wait.. What? I stared at Luka, dumbfounded. "Mikuo was Rin's ex boyfriend? I though Mikuo was with a Lenka."

Luka glanced at me, giving me a weird pissed off face. "How the- Who told you that?!" Luka slapped her right hand hard on the table, demanding me to give her an answer.

I jumped a bit, lowering down. "I was in front of Len and Mikuo when they were fighting, and Len yelled out something about Mikuo breaking Lenka's heart." I squinted one of my eyes, getting ready to what I thought might happen. Except, a sigh escaped from Luka's lips and she sat right back down, face-palming.

I looked at Luka, giving her a worried glance. "Luka.. Did something happen? Please, I'm here to listen if you need to say something." Luka raised her head, tears were slowly forming in her eyes. I froze, staring at Luka as tears rolled down her cheeks one by one.

Luka gently wiped the tears away, and opened her mouth to say somethin- but, she was interrupted the bell of front door opening. It was Rin returning back to her seat, which was next to mine. Her face was beet red, her tear-stained cheek let me know that she was crying. I went to wrap my arms around her, but she slapped them away. My eyes widen again. There was a quiet atmosphere around us three. We didn't say a single word to each other, we simply just drank our drinks. We didn't even make eye contact with one another. I got up from my seat, and walked out the store. I can't stand atmosphere's like that, I needed to get out. As I walked out of the store, I could hear the café's door being opened two more times before the bell stopped ringing. Rin and Luka must have gone after me.

I continued walking. I didn't know where I was going, but I wanted to into the noisy town. Away from the silence. "(Y/N)!" Once I heard my name, I stopped. Footsteps gone closer to me. I took a deep breathe, and turned out. "You will just leave me alo-" When I looked at who was in front of me, I stopped what I was saying and froze in place.

It was Len. Why is he out here? "L-Len..?" I mumbled under my breath. Len gave me a warm smile, holding out his hand towards me. I stared at his hand, slowly expanding mine to land on his. Once I did, we were off. Len started to run, I was being dragged beside him. I had no clue where we were going, but if he's there.. I'm going with him.

At that exact moment when Len started to run off, my heart started to beat as fast as a bullet. My face started to feel all hot. I think I know my answer.. I should have realized that when I hung out with him these past days. The answer is so clear to me now...

I'm in love with Len, and I want to be with him for as long as I can. ❤︎
