[Len Kagamine x Reader]

Ch. 28

The trio continued to run towards Luka's café. Honestly, we haven't ran that far. We were already close to it since we were heading there in the first place.

As we entered the café, the bell chimes on the door rang, making a couple of people face towards us, but only to see who was coming in before going back to minding their own business.

After we entered, the twins searched for Luka. She owned the place and mainly runs it herself along with Gakupo when he has free time from his another job. Frankly, it didn't take us long to find the twins' mother-like friend. She was serving a customer who was ordering at the cashier. 

"Lukkkkaaaa!!!" The twins both yelled, almost in harmony. Almost everyone in the café looked towards our way, including Luka. Boy,  she did not have a happy look on her face when she saw that it was the twins. Though she let out a sigh and gave them a soft smile, gesturing them to come over.

Rin and Len dashed over to the counter where Luka stood, leaving me behind to just walk over myself. I had an awkward feeling as I was heading over. A sense of not belonging. I just shrugged and choose to ignore it. I put on a light smile as I arrived at where the others were.

"Luka, We have someone very special that we would like you to meet," said Rin, with that bright smile that she is known to have before gesturing over towards me. I froze in place, not knowing how to present myself in front of someone new.

"Hi, my name is (Y/N)." I stuttered over my words, a random wave of nervousness slapped me across the face. "You must be Luka, it's a pleasure to meet you." I gave her a soft smile, hoping I made a good first impression. I quickly glanced over towards the twins, they might show me a sign that I did a good job.

Not even close. They both looked at me like I just robbed a bank. Was being polite, not the right way to go with? Is she going to make fun of me for being "too nice?"  While I was about to have an inner argument with my own conscience, I heard light scoff coming towards the pink lady that stand right in of me. Regaining focus, my eyes adverted towards Luka - she has long straight pink hair, but it seems to be placed in a low ponytail,  most likely for her profession. She is wearing a tan apron with a single pink pocket over a short-sleeved black shirt and navy denim jeans. Her cornflower blue eyes seem to compliment her pale complexion, I feel like I'm looking at goddess. If only her first words towards me could match her beauty.

"You can cut the politeness, I'm not the queen of the world." She said sharply, handing the customer's change and heading towards the back of the café as she motioned her hand towards the three of us to follow behind. "Twins, would you might helping out? We can talk after closing. I have a lot of orders to fulfill and Gakupo isn't able to come in time." Len and Rin nodded their heads in sync, though you still haven't gotten used to their telepathy, but at least we know that Gakupo isn't here yet. There you enter the location where all the caffeine magic happens. The entrance to the café seemed so small, and crowded like only five people can fit in the lobby, luckily there are tables outside so people can sit and wait, but when you go past the 'Employees Only' door - it makes a it more sense. It's a big spacious room with long cabinets drawers filled with all types of teas, sugars, ground coffees, and syrups. Facing towards the lobby, there's two giant coffee machines and alongside it were blenders, an ice machine, a sink and even a lonely stool that sat in the corner. I was so surprised and impressed, Luka must be proud of her work. I gasped in awe, causing the three to turn and face me, from the corner of my eyes, I even saw Luka flash a small smile before it faded away.

"(Y/N), you can sit on that stool while the twins works." She said as she pointed towards the stool, I nodded and obeyed. Luka then faced the twins, "Now, you know what to do and how to act." Her face darken as she continued to speak, "I don't want to come back here and need to discipline the two of you in front of your new friend." She smiled as she exited the room. Len lifted a hand as if wanting to correct her, but Rin stopped him, stating that it's best to wait.

Both twins shrugged towards each other before starting to laugh. "That's our Luka. Alway hardworking." stated Rin as she closed the door to the room, revealing a small closet in the shadows. Upon opening the doors, it revealed more aprons similar to Luka's, but once out into the rays of the coffee room lights, it is revealed that the single pocket comes in different colors. Rin removes two from the closet, one having an orange pocket and the other, a yellow pocket. The twins distributed the aprons upon themselves as if they represent those colors; Rin with orange and Len with yellow. "Alright, time to work. Let's do Luka proud!" Rin cheered, dashing to the coffee machine, Len nodding and repeating her action, "It's been awhile since we worked here, hopefully I remember how to use this thing again." 

(Y/N) blinked "You guys used to work here?" They face you and nod their heads. "Yeah, we work here over the summer, but we haven't been able to recently since Luka wanted to get new equipment for the shop. It took some time to get here, so Luka had to close for a while." Rin stated, "Now, prepare to be amazed." (Y/N) adjusted themselves into the stool, preparing to see what skills the twins have when it came to brewing coffee.
