The Fall

Looking down upon it all

I wonder, should I take the fall

Would you even care at all

If I let go of it all

Looking at you now

I see the man but not the boy

The strength in your eyes

The quiet words you will not say

Silence drowns us in this room

The truth screams loudly among us

I need to know tonight

If I walk away, would you try to make it right

As I look down upon it all

Wondering if I should take the fall

The truth catches up and I know

You would not care at all
