It Started At A Bar-Supernatural

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

"Hey Dean, I think I have something." Sam said while staring at his laptop.
"What is it?" Dean asked.
"It looks like in Columbia, New Jersey there is a bunch of attacks happening claimed to be by a giant black bear although no one has ever seen this bear. People go missing while camping and their bodies are later found, eaten and destroyed. I think we have a Wendigo."
"Alright. Where's the location?"
"Uhhhh oh Worthington State Forest, Columbia, New Jersey. Apparently there's 26 miles of trails. This sounds a little hard." Sam said as he scratched his head.
"Well nothing we can't handle right?" Dean said smiling at Sam.
After finding the case, Sam went upstairs to find Tori in her room with Bonkers guarding the door.
"Hey Tori, hey Jenna, we found a case." Sam said as he kneeled down to pet the dog.
"Oh what is it?" Tori said as she paused Mortal Kombat and got off of her bed. Her and Jenna were having a battle on Tori's PlayStation.
"It looks like there's a Wendigo in Columbia, New Jersey. I know you guys have never hunted one before, but it's experience right? Well, we are going to leave here after dinner and go find a motel near the forest. Then tomorrow we will set up camp and look for the Wendigo. Pack everything you need to camp. We only have two decent sized tents that fit two people each. I don't know how long we will be out there, but pack a change of clothes if you want. Whatever else you need."
"Okay, thanks Sam." Tori said.
"Yup. I'll see you guys at dinner." Sam closed the door and went to his room.

"Well that was weird." Jenna said after Tori unpaused the game.
"What are you talking about?" Tori asked as she tried to attack Jenna's character.
"Well Sam usually has a stick up his butt for you when it comes to dangerous stuff. He would never be fine with you hunting a Wendigo even if he was right beside you the whole time. He's been acting weird lately around you."
"Oh... I didn't even notice." Tori looked down and paused the game again, "I'll be right back, sorry."

Tori went to Sam's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in." She could hear him call.
"Hey Sammy, what's been up with you lately?"
"Uh what do you mean Tori?"
"Well like, you're letting me hunt a Wendigo with you guys and you didn't even protest. Why?"
"Oh, well I know I didn't like you dating Gabriel a while back, but the other night I really thought about it. I realised that since he really cares about you, if you're ever in trouble, he will be right there for you if you call him. And he told me he'd be by your side in a heart beat if you ever call him. When I see him around you more and more, I begin to trust him. And now with this Wendigo, if I'm not with you, he will be with you. There will always be a part of me that doesn't want you doing something as dangerous as this, but Dean has told me many times that I need to let you do things too. I'm sorry about all those times I was hard on you and didn't let you come with us. You are a strong hunter." Sam looked at Tori like he was proud but also worried.
Tori stared at Sam and looked confused, but then a bright smile spread across her face and she immediately ran and hugged Sam, "Thank you! I will be super careful don't worry! You're the best, Sam. I can't believe you're fully trusting Gabriel."
"Well one night after you went to bed, he came to me wanting to talk about how uptight I am with you. I told him how basically after I met you I adopted you as a sister and you became my best friend and he just stared at me and listened the whole time. When I stopped talking, he told me how even though he's been around forever, when he first looked into your eyes, he knew you were the only human that could hold his happiness and make him want to be by your side every moment of your life and I'm not joking, he went on and on about how he loves you. While he was talking, I realized that he couldn't have been lying. So I trust him with you."
"Wait, he loves me?" Tori looked at Sam wide eyed. Gabriel and Tori have never used the word "love" with each other. They felt it but never felt the time was right to say it and were too scared to say it.
"Yeah, haha. He said it a lot when he was talking about you." Sam looked down at Tori and he smiled at her realizing they've never told each other how much they loved each other, "go tell him!" As Sam said this, he let her go and pushed her towards the door. Tori walked back to her room while blushing. She really did love Gabriel. When she got to her room, Jenna was still sitting there waiting.
"Jenna I'm so sorry but Sam just explained why he doesn't have a stick up his butt anymore."
Jenna noticed how Tori's face was red and she asked to hear everything. After Tori told her, Jenna hugged her and told her to tell Gabriel how she felt. Then Jenna left Tori's room and went to her and Dean's room to begin packing.
Tori looked up to the ceiling, "Gabriel, can you come down here?"
Immediately there was a flutter of wings and the angel stood before her.
"Hey, Sugar!" He looked at her eyes and saw how happy they were and he could tell she's excited about something. He walked up to her and grabbed her hands, "what's up?"
Tori looked into his golden brown eyes and said, "I was talking to Sa-"
"Oh great, what did he say about me now?"
"He told me you love me." She stared at him hoping he would say what she had heard from Sam and make it all true, and he did.
"Well, I do love you. I love you a lot. I'm addicted to you Tori. Your my favorite piece of candy that completes me. I have never, ever, met a human that makes me want to stay on earth more than a minute. Like almost everyone I meet has got something I can't stand about them. But then there's you. Gorgeous you. Deep brown eyes full of wonder, humorous, caring, gentle yet badass, Tori please stop me cause I can go on and o-" Gabriel was suddenly interrupted by Tori pressing her lips against his and he grabbed her making the kiss even harder. Tori pulled away smiling, "I love you," she said as she stared into his eyes.
"I love you too, Tori."

After they let their feelings out, Gabriel helped Tori pack a bag and made sure she had everything she would need.
"So Sam told me about the Wendigo you guys are going to hunt. If at any moment, you feel unsafe or need backup or just want me there to protect you, call me. I will be at your side right away defending you. I have to go now though, angel radio, Cas needs me up there. I'll see you soon, I love you." Gabriel kissed the top of Tori's head and disappeared.
She smiled and carried her bags to the door and went to the kitchen, "what's for dinner?" She asked Jenna.
"Dean wanted me to make a macaroni and cheese and bacon pie. So that's what is dinner haha." Jenna went to the pie and put a slice on a plate for Tori as she sat down with the others and ate in silence.

After cleaning up their plates, they packed the Impala and got in, Dean and Jenna up front, and Sam and Tori in the back.
"How long until we get to the motel?" Jenna asked as she looked at Dean.
"About 3 hours. I know I don't say this much, but go ahead and put whatever music you want on babe."
Jenna's eyes lit up and she put 5 Seconds of Summer on.
"Okay, not that. Please pick something else."
Jenna rolled her eyes and laughed, then put Fall Out Boy on. Dean was more okay with them but knew it made Jenna happy so he didn't say anything. They had a full 3 hours ahead of them.
