After talking and getting to know each other more, Tori and Jenna decided they wanted to live the life of a Winchester, on edge, always on the road, never knowing what tomorrow brings. It's not like they had anything better to do. The boys on the other hand weren't too fond of keeping Tori and Jenna around danger. By now, Dean was so comfortable with Jenna that they would flirt often. He cared too much to let her become a hunter. Sam didn't want that life for Tori either. The girls are probably some of the most stubborn people the boys have ever met, so eventually they gave in. But there were restrictions at first. In the beginning, Tori and Jenna could only join in on salt and burns, which seemed like nothing. After a year or so of trust and training, the girls got to go on hunts for the dangerous things. Lives were almost lost but they were all in one piece at the end of the day.
Sam and Dean even allowed them to stay at the bunker. Everyone had their own room, but eventually, Jenna and Dean started to bunk together.
One morning Jenna woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon and walked into the kitchen to see Tori and Sam at the table while Dean made breakfast. He saw her standing in the doorway, "Hey sleeping beauty, want some food?" His eyes lit up looking at her natural self with no makeup or anything.
"Yeah, I'm so hungryyyyy!" She said trailing on her last word.
Dean quickly fixed her a plate and pulled out a chair for her. He then got a plate and sat down to join the group.
After Tori and Sam scoffed down their food, Dean asked if they could leave the room so he could speak to Jenna alone. Tori and Sam looked at each other then back at Dean and they both winked at him. They knew how he's felt for Jenna for so long, but Jenna had no clue. As Sam and Tori walked out, Dean cleared his throat. Jenna was still eating the last of her eggs and he cleared his throat again hoping she'd look up at him and she did.
"Jenna, uhm, I uh-"
"Dean what is it haha" Jenna interrupted.
"Alright well, I don't know how you feel, but when I first met you, I could not stop staring at your eyes feeling like I've found my salvation. Every day when I look into your eyes, I see a chance for happiness, and it makes me realize love isn't overrated and I jus-"
"I like you too, Dean" Jenna interrupted realizing she's felt the same the whole time. She blushed and looked down and Dean just stared at her in awe. He grabbed her chin so she'd look at him and he stood up and leaned over her and kissed her hard. Out of nowhere, clapping and whistling started. Sam and Tori. They were standing on the other side of the wall listening the whole time.
"Get out of here!" Dean yelled.
Hearing footsteps running away and tons of laughter, Dean looked back at Jenna as she blushed more.
"Jenna, I don't just like you, I love you. I really do. Like you are so badass, you're good with a gun, and you always talk to me when I'm down." Dean assured her of his love.
"Sameeeeee" Jenna said trying to make the moment less mushy. Dean laughed and hugged her.
Dean and Jenna finally became a thing. Within minutes Sam and Tori started to become obnoxious children yelling "JEAN" whenever they wanted both Dean and Jenna's attention. Sam felt proud of himself for coming up with that little name.
Privately, Dean talked to Sam about Tori. He asked him when they would hook up and Sam just shook his head and laughed.
"Dean, she's like a best friend and sister to me. Don't get me wrong, I love her with all my heart, but we already agreed not to get together. We thought our relationship would get in the way of hunts." Sam laughed at the idea of dating his best friend Tori.
"Well Sammy, I mean, when I see you two together, the whole room lights up and you act like yourself when you're around her. You two seem so happy around each other. Are you in a friends with benefit relationship at least?" Dean smirked at his last question.
"What? Dean. No. I said she's like a sister. Ew. I'm gonna go on my laptop and look for any new hunts. Do not ask me about this again." Sam got up leaving the room shaking his head.
Oddly, Tori and Jenna were having the same conversation.
"So are you into Sam? I think he likes you, he lights up when you're in the room and he gets so childish." Jenna asked, crossing her fingers for the chance of double dating.
"Oh my gosh Jenna no. Sam is like a big brother. Haha we goof around a lot but it's because we have so much in common. But we would never date. It would get in the way of hunts and he would probably let his guard down if we are dating." Tori didn't like the idea. She tried to be a realist and didn't want to slip out of reality.
Jenna simply shrugged her shoulders and agreed with what her best friend said.
