Chapter 2

*Skylar's POV*

I looked over at him and saw him and the schools "Popular girl" flirting. I should have know why would a guy like that ever fall for a guy like me.

I had to quickly shake the sad look of my face and sit down before anyone noticed. I got to my seat and sat down putting my bag behind my chair.

"Hey" Holly said

Holly is my long time best friend of 7 years, she has short curly Blond hair and bright green eyes. We met when we were really small and were best friends ever since.

" Hey" I replied back

" What's wrong"

"Nothing just tired"

" I know there's something your not saying is it "him" she said. That's the thing with me and Holly we know everything just by looking at our faces.

"Yup" I said popping the P and the end

" Ugh you just have to let it go he's a player nothing but a player" she said.

" I know, I just need time". Then our teaching came in and started teaching and after that it was all just a blur until we ate lunch then switched to English class.

*In English Class*

I was putting my stuff down when our English teacher came into the class and started speaking.

" Excuse me class but I an announcement we have a new student joining us and he comes all the way from Florida"

I looked up and met eyes with the new boy in our class.

"Would you like to introduce yourself" our English teacher Mrs. Allen said.

" Um yeah sure, well My name's Daniel''

And just like that I glanced over and of course all the popular girls were already getting ready to flirt with him.

"Well Daniel you can sit right beside...hmm Skylar over there".

Right as I heard my name I got back into focus.

Well this is going to be interesting I thought.... But Interesting was only the beginning.
