Chapter 3

*Skylar's POV*

I instantly got looks from all the "popular girls" in our class. I turned away and focused on my new partner. He looked at me and smiled.

" Hey I'm Daniel you must be Skylar" He said showing an adorable smile.

"Hey, it's nice to meet you" I said

"Nice to meet you too. So How is this school?"

I looked up at him and he was looking right at me.

" Hehe sorry" He said. He had the most lovable laugh ever.

" It's alright and It definitely has it's flaws, it could be better but I guess it's an alright school"

" why did you move here anyway?" I asked

" Well my mom had a job transfer and my dad wanted to move for a while now so"

Just then Erica came towards us. Remember that popular I was talking about earlier yeah that's her.

She flirts with every boy she can get, yet pushes them away to make them feel bad.

"Hey'' she said with that squeaky voice that I just cringe at.

" Hey'' Daniel replied

I looked down trying to avoid him from seeing my jealous face.

I knew what was going to happen, he was going to fall for her, Then they go out and become a couple I've seen this before.

I should have known he wouldn't like me.

Just as they were having there conversation Mrs. Allen went up in front of the class and started talking and finally Erica had left.

"Okay class Today I want to bring up a new project I want you to do. You are to be in partners that I will assign and I want you to do It on the partner to get to know each other better" she said

Next thing I new she was assigning partners

"Okay Skylar You will be partners with...hmm Our new student Daniel"

He looked at me and smiled. I new I was falling for him but I new I had to try my best not to because I new I would just end up hurting in the end.

" So do you wanna come to my house after school and get started" he said

" Sure " I replied

The rest of the  school day was pretty boring after that. But it finally got to the end of the day

Daniel and I both got ready and headed to his house. Once we arrived we were greeted by his mom Mrs. Brooks

" Hello Daniel Is this your new friend' she said

" Mom this is Skylar me and her are doing a class project together' Daniel said

" It's nice to meet you Mrs. Brooks"

" Oh please call me Diane" she said with A smile

" Okay well mom were going upstairs to work on our project now"

" Okay well I'll put some snacks on the table Incase you guys get hungry'

We both headed upstairs and went into his room

" Well now you know my mom" he said with a smile

" Yeah she seems really nice and it's so peaceful here"

"oh it's not always like this you came on a good day I have a younger sister and brother and another older brother"

 " Wow big family'

"Yup and there's lots of yelling" he said

The rest of the day we spent laughing and getting to know each other better

'Well it's getting late I should be going" we both stood and  are hands touched and our eyes locked.

Wow He had the most beautiful brown eyes.

*Daniel POV*

She had the most beautiful hazel eyes ever Until she pulled away.

*Skylar's POV*

I pulled away And started getting my things and we started heading downstairs

He opened the door for me

"So I'll see you tomorrow" He said with a smile

"See you tomorrow" I said and with that I headed home 

once I got home I went to my room and heard my phone go off it was a message from Daniel

D- see you tomorrow goodnight  :)

S- See ya :)

I laid on my bed and smiled

I can't be falling for him... can I
