Chapter 4

 * 3 weeks later*

*Skylar's POV*

Over the past few weeks me and Daniel got to know each other really well. We spent the days going to each others houses watching movies and going to amusement parks.

I woke up to the sound of my phone going off. It was a text from Daniel

D- Hey you wanna come over to my house today?

S- Yeah sure :)

D- Okay see ya <3

So I hoped out of bed and went to go get dressed, I  straightened my hair, and went down stairs and had breakfast.

"Hey Sweetie we're are you going" My mom asked

"I'm going to Daniel's"

"Okay well don't be long"

"Okay bye mom" I got up put my dishes in the sink and went to go put on my converse and left the house.

I finally got to Daniels house and he opened the door.

"Hey Sky come in" He held the door open and I was greeted by his little sister Amelia

"SKYLAR!!" she came up running and hugged me but since she was small she only got my legs.

"Hey Amelia"

"Will you play princess with me"

"Well Amelia me and sky are going to the park" Daniel said quickly before I even got the chance to respond.

"Oh okay maybe next time" she said

"Okay bye Amelia" I said and then we left and headed to the park

Once we got there people were around but there was a group of boys with two girls around our age staring at me Daniel But I didn't pay to much attention to it

The first thing I did was go to the swing.

"Daniel come here and push me" I said getting on

He came behind me and started pushes me. Once I  was high enough he went on the one next to me and started swinging with me.

"We were mostly just talking about random things until we heard the ice-cream truck come by.

"Hey do you want anything sky I'm going to go get something"

"Yeah sure anything is fine"

He got up left and went to the ice cream truck.

While he was gone one of the boys from the group came up to me and sat on the swing Daniel was sitting on.

"Hey" He said

"Hi" I replied

"My name's Dylan'

"I'm Skylar"

"So I was wondering If I could get your number so we could hang out sometime"

"Umm yeah sure" he gave me his phone And I gave him mine and we exchanged numbers

'You sure your boyfriend wont mind"

"Oh Daniel he's not my boyfriend"

"Okay So Now I don't have to worried about being punched" He said

"hahaha I guess not"

"So I'll see you later, Bye Skylar"

"Bye" We waved and he left the swings he returned to his group and they all left.

Daniel finally got back from the Ice cream truck and came walking towards me, he looked upset and angry.

"Hey Thank for the ice cream"

He didn't respond he just looked down

"Daniel what's wrong?'

"Don't know I'm just not feeling well" he said sadly

"Well maybe you should go home and rest"

"Yeah"

So we got up and walked to his house half way there he finally said something

"So who was that guy you were talking to at the park" 

"Oh he just asked me if we could hang out"

'Oh okay"

*Daniel POV*

I felt really bad for acting this way with Skylar but in this past few week I started falling for her. But she clearly doesn't feel the same way and I just have to accept that.

We finally got to my house And I opened the door.

*Skylar's POV*

"Well I hope you feel better I'll come back later and bring you some soup"

"Okay thanks Sky"

I hugged him and I never wanted to let go. But we let go and  I headed for my house.

I never knew Daniel saw me Talking with Dylan. I really like Daniel.

But I don't know why he was so Upset.

He almost seamed ...Jealous.
