Chapter 5

*Skylar's POV*

later that day

I made just got back from the store holding some soup  and a couple movies in my hands and walking to Daniel's house. All I could think about was what happened at the park and it was driving me insane. I suddenly looked up and saw his house. Man I'm already here. I went up to his door and knocked. After waiting his mom finally came and opened the door. "  Hey Mrs. Brooks " "Skylar it's nice to see you come in, Daniels in his room" she said, So I took of my shoes and went up the stairs going to his room.

I looked In his room and I saw him on his phone looking upset but not sick. I knocked on the door to get his attention, he looked up from his phone and smiled " Hey Sky you can come in " I walked into his room and put down the soup and movies on his desk.

"You didn't have to bring me anything you know" he said looking down at his phone. I don't know what's wrong with him he's just not acting like himself. " well I felt bad, so I brought some movies too" I replied. He got up and started looking at the movies. My eyes wondered across his room until they landed on a guitar case.

"Do you play"

"Um yeah I've been playing for a little less then a year now" He said

" I've always wanted to learn to play"

"Well I could teach you, Come here I'll show you" He said patting the spot next to him on his bed.

I went next to him and sat down he place the guitar on my lap and put my hands in the position for me to play. He put his arms around me to help. I really wanted to stay like this for a while. " See your getting it" he said. We practiced for an hour and I finally got the chorus of  Night changes by One Direction.

" Well that was fun, but how about we watch some movies now" he said

" Alright what about insidious" he said

" No, no, no, Please Daniel can we watch something else"

" Nope" He said popping the p

He knows how much I hate scary movies. He put in the movie and sat next to me. I think he could tell I was scared because He put his arm around me and held me close to him." It's okay I'll be here" He said.

Through the whole entire movie he would always tell be to close my eyes whenever the scary pat came on and would hold me closer. Once we finished watch insidious we ended up watching three other movies staying in the same position.

Half way throughout the movie I started thinking about what happened in the park. So I built up the courage to ask him. "Daniel can I ask you something" "Yeah sure" he said. I think he could tell I was a bit nervous because he sat up looking worried. " Well all I keep think about is what happened in the park and I noticed your acting different, I really want to know what's bothering you Daniel" I said looking straight into his eyes.

" Umm well Sky, I didn't mean to be acting different it's just when I saw you talking to that guy I couldn't help but feel a little jealous, I just Developed feelings for you and when I saw you with him my heart just sank."

I couldn't believe He was saying all this All along the boy I had feeling for has feelings for me too. I looked up at him and smiled. "Well I have feeling for you too just didn't know how to say it.

I looked down and his finger brought my head back up making me look right into his eye's. He leaned in a placed a soft kiss in my lips. I felt butterflies everywhere. "You have know idea how long I have been wanting to do that" he said, "And now here my chance to ask you something"

"Skylar will you be my girlfriend"
