POV: Alex
After we talked and talked about what the hell just happened and about the past of my father, I went up to the guest room, or my room as Tré put it and changed into some comfy black short shorts and a black tank. Sara wanted to have another movie night. Me and her are like the same person really. We love to watch movies, we love food even though we are both stick thin and we both love some good music. Me and Tré are the same too, only because of our wild stories and childish acts. I went downstairs to join Sara.
"Hey Sara, could you please make some popcorn? I'll get the living room ready." I said sticking my head into the living room. She was getting stuff ready, so I thought I would give her the easier job.
"Sure thing. Butter?" She asked. My head jolted her way.
"Of course! What other way is there?" I asked laughing.
"You're right!" She told me. She left with a smirk and I started in the couches and what not. I always get the little love seat with the dogs and the love birds get the big couch to them selves. I laid down some blankets and pillows and we were good. Tré was out picking up his son Frankito. His mom had custody over him but Tré was aloud to visit him and take him once in a while. I'm not really sure what the deal is there. Anyway, he was coming over for the week. Tré is always talking about Frankito. He likes to call him Frankie or bud. I hear him sometimes when they are on the phone. I can get why he misses him. I would call my kid almost everyday and stay in touch as much as possible if I could barely see them.
"Almost ready in here?" Sara said breaking my thoughts. She walked in with two bowls of popcorn.
"Oh uh, yeah. We just need a movie." I said straightening out some blankets. She put down the bowls of popcorn on the table. She shook her head.
"Don't worry. I already got one. How about A League Of Their Own?" She said picking it up from the table. I didn't even notice it there. Damn, I love that movie to bits.
"That sounds awesome! I love that movie!" I said.
"Okay good!" She said popping it in and skipping all the previews and such. She left it alone when the title screen came up. "Let's wait for the monster to come back with Frankie." She said sitting on the couch.
"Okay. Hey I gotta ask you some thing... What's Frankie like?" I asked her. She looked at me and smiled.
"Aw, that's cute. I have to say though he is about 3 years younger then you." She said giggling. I shook my head.
"No no no, not like that! I mean, is he a cool kid, mean, happy, an idiot like his father." I asked her.
"Hehe, he is a sweet kid and he gets along with anyone he meets. And yes, when he is with friends or his father, he is a wild animal." She said. I smiled. Not long after we talked for a bit, Tré busted in with Frankie.
"I'm home! You guys ready for the movie?" Tré yelled.
"Ready when you two are!" Sara yelled back. Tré came in and kissed Sara when she tilted her head back on the back of the couch. He went into his room to drop off his jacket and what not. Frankie went up stairs to drop off his stuff and he ran back down to greet Sara with a hug. He looked at me and waved.
"Hi, you must be Alex. It's nice to put a face to a name." He said. I smiled back.
"It's nice to finally meet you Frankito-" he cut me off.
"Please, call me Frankie." He said laughing a bit.
"Okay, Frankie. Sorry I didn't know what you would like to be called."
"It's alright. So I see a movie night? What are we watching?" He said looking around the room.
"A League Of Their Own." Sara said.
"Oh cool." He said sitting on the couch next to me. I scooted over so he could have more room. He grabbed the popcorn from the table and started to eat some. Tré came downstairs and sat on the couch with Sara.
"START THE MOVIE!" Tré yelled. Frankie looked so embarrassed.
"Dad really?" He said to him.
"What? My house, my rules." He said and we all laughed a bit. It's really like family here.
