Alex!!!!!

She waddles her way to us, and stares directly at piper.

"Hey baby, I want you." Helena says with her dark meth-head teeth.
"Excuse me?" Piper says.

"I want to make you my bitch." She replies.

I jump at her and yell "You better back your ugly bitch ass off my girl!"

"Don't even fucking touch Piper!" Alex adds in.

"Yea, you're gonna find it real hard to talk when I shove a mop in your ass, back away bitch!" Big boo hisses.

"You better watch who you're talking to-" Helena says before she gets cut off.

"I will rip out your throat with my teeth." Piper says in a calm but menacing voice.

Helena smiles. "I like 'em feisty."

"Leave." Alex spits out.

Helena turns around and walks to the track while chuckling.

I glance at Piper "Whoa, I didn't think you'd say that. "

" She wasn't going to back off. " she replies. "My girl?"

"...Um yea" I say while I scratch my head.

"Mhm 'friends'." nicky jokes.

"Are you okay?" Alex asks annoyed by me.

"Fine, can we just not talk about her for a little bit?" Piper replies.

"Lunch is over ladies! Back to work!" A CO announces.

Me and Piper walk back into the whisper's sweat shop. I grab my fabric that I cut the other day.

Click click click. My sewing machine stops working.

"Shit." I whisper.

"What happened?" Piper asks.

"It just stopped working."

"Here let me see it." She pops the cover off the machine and pulls outs pieces of thread.

"The problem is that your thread created a knot and caused the machine to jam." She says.

"Perfect, brains and beauty, hard to compete with that." I tease.

"Mm.. And the incredibly cocky and mysterious Australian."

"You think I'm cocky?"

"Extremely."

"Piper I'm not that mysterious, i told you about my family."

"Yea, but you never told me about your childhood or how you got sent to prison."

"Well, my family had this business of con artists that started about six years ago. We sold drugs to people who where desperate, and we gave them way less than what they paid for."

"Did they ever find out?" Piper Questions.

"Some did, but we mixed the drugs with other things to make up for the weight."

"Like..?"

"oregano with weed, salt and coke, things like that. Once a lot of people found out we were cheating them, we moved."

"How many times did you move?"

"A handful of times, we only spent a few months in each place. We spent some time in Japan, China, New Zealand and other places."

"That must have been fun, seeing all those places."

"You would think so, my parents were alcholics, and we couldn't leave the house often to avoid drawing attention."

"What was your job?"

"I kept track of the money which is funny because my parents emptied out my bank account for beer. So, when we moved here, someone got sloppy."

"Stella, how much do we have now?" My dad asks.

"A little over $36,000" i reply.

Police sirens whail outside.

"There's police at our door!" My mother yells.

"Stella what did you do!" My father screams.

"It wasn't me!" I scream back.

"Police, put your hands where I can see them!" A cop says. "Stop!"

I turn my head and see my parents escape through the back door.

"Shit." I whisper to myself.

A police officer pulls my hands behind my back and puts them in cuffs. He pushes me to the police car while reading me my rights.

"Whoa" Piper says.

"Work's over poochies!" Announces a CO.

I switched off the sewing machine.

"Stella!" Piper whispers.

"What-"

There she is, standing at the doors.

"What do we do?" I ask Piper.

"Just walk." Piper replies.

We walk to the door and she stops us.

"Hello." She says through her disgusting smile.

"Helena." Piper says.

"So we're getting familiar already." Helena says.

"If you touch me, my friends or my girlfriend i won't hesitate to make your prison life a living hell." Piper warns.

Helena looks at me "Oh, your girlfriend. " she teases.

"Leave her alone." I say with a death stare.

Helena nods and lets us through.

We walk to the dorms and i see Poussey cuddling Soso.

"They're cute together." I say.

We walk to Piper's cube and sit on the bed.

"What you said to Batshit Smith was kind of sexy." I say.

"What do you mean?" She replies.

"You stood up to her, like you are innocent but dangerous."

"Mm..and what you said, I'm not your girlfriend."

"Count ladies!" A CO yells.

I walk to my cube and a CO clicks his counter at me. CLICK CLICK CLICK i hear all over the room. "We're missing one." A CO yells.

I turn my head and at that moment, Alex burst through the door with her arms and hands covered in cuts.

Alex is holding her cuts and Nicky and others are helping to stop the bleeding.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Smith went after Alex with a razor." Nicky replies.

"Why?" Questions Piper.

"She's going after all of us to get to you, Piper." Big Boo says. "She's going to kill us."
