Zayn's POV

The next morning I woke up feeling like I was just hit by a bus. It was a friendly bus because I wasn't in pain, I just felt a little disoriented. I had forgotten that I had moved out, so I got scared when I woke up in the middle of a strange place alone. When I remembered, I called my mum to tell her I was fine and everything was going okay. She told me she was glad and to just spend the day unpacking and to call her if I was going anywhere. It didn't really feel like I got my own independence when I moved out because she was kept telling me what I should do. Either way, is still listened.

I got out bed and walked into my kitchen to take my morning pills. As I looked around, I couldn't wait to paint every single one of these pale walls. I rubbed the rest of the sleep out of my eyes and looked down to see if I was still wearing what I was before I went to sleep. When I saw I was, I smiled because I wasn't going crazy today. I was stable and didn't need to freak out about stuff. So, I forced myself not to think about Niall or Liam or anything from my fake world and to just think of what was happening at the moment. At the moment, I looked around and realized I needed to get myself settled into this place. It wouldn't be hard because I only had art supplies and clothes so I wasn't too worried about getting it finished.

I began to unpack my stuff and just put it in places I would remember them. After I got my clothes sorted out in the closet and dresser, I began focusing on my art room. I hung up my canvas paintings and set up my art supplies on the small fold out table I found in the closet. My fingers ran over the full tubes of paint in their small case, causing a smile to appear on my lips. I got out my stack a sketch books and put those on a shelf, then looked around the room. I got a regular pencil and walked up to one of the empty walls.

My pencil glided over the walls in unknown patterns and swirls that my hands gently created. This was happiness to me. This was all I needed and wanted all put together in one. Even though the little  thoughts would pop up of Niall and how I saw him yesterday, I managed to push those to the back of my mind and continue to be happy with my drawing. My stomach growled after to came out of my world of drawing, so I set down my pencil and went to get my phone and wallet.

After I left my flat, I text my mum that I was going to get something to eat. She didn't reply to me, but that was expected by me because it's noon and she's probably busy. When I got to the lobby of the building, I saw Liam was just rushing in. I took a step to the side and watched him closely to see if he was really there, but he seemed far too distracted to even notice I was in the same room as him. He asked the front desk worker for something, then was handed a big box. He rushed out of the building with the box, not even giving me a second glance. I decided to walk over to the front desk to ask if that was an actual person. The man confirmed it, then looked at me like the nut job I am.

Once I left the building, I found myself just walking the streets of down town London. There were allot of pubs and small shops to go into, but I was just looking for some place to eat. I found a small sandwich shop, but when I walked in I felt my heart break because Niall was leaning against a wall looking through his phone. I decided that if he was real, then I should just ignore him. He's not the same Niall, so I just need to get over him. Plus, we live in the same building and in the same area of London so we're bound to cross paths.

I walked over and placed my order, then went over to where Niall and two other people were waiting. I felt someone's eyes one me, but I already knew who they belonged to. So I just kept to myself and looked straight ahead. Niall's name was called, causing the boy to walk over to the person to get his food. He was wearing tight gray jeans, a white t-shirt and some white Converse. He looked really good, so I had to force myself to look away before he looked at me. Unfortunately, he saw me when he turned around and came over to me slowly.
