Eliza's p.o.v.: I walked into the school building and decided to go to the science department. Since A.) I had time before class started and B.) I wanted to apologize to Riley and since I didn't see him on the bus, I'll go to the science lab and talk to him. He'll understand right? I hope so. I pull the door to the lab open and start walking around, looking for him. I don't see him, but I do see some guy. Maybe he knows Riley and where he is? I walk up to him and tap his shoulder. "Um, hi. Uh, my names Eliza and I wondering -" I was cut off by the guys voice. "You're Looking for Riley aren't you?" He said. "Yes! Oh my gosh, thank God you know him. How did you know I was looking for him?" I asked, sighing in relief. "Hmm, I don't know. Maybe because I'm his best friend Seth. And maybe because he wouldn't stop talking about this girl he was seeing Saturday. And that she was beautiful and talented and had the name Eliza. And how he loved the name because it wasn't very common. And maybe I know because I went over to his house for hours helping him get ready and getting the perfect flowers. And maybe because at 6:10 pm he called me crying because he got ditched by the girl he had been dying to see since Monday. And maybe I know you're looking for Riley and can't find him because he called me this morning and told me he couldn't bare to see you on the bus or at school so he was staying home. Yeah, maybe that's how I know." He spat, words laced in venom. "I-uh-im sorry." Was all I could say before turning around and walking out. Wait. His names Seth. I turned around and walked back in and waltzed straight up to him. He didn't see me so I cleared my throat, which made him turn around. "What?" He said, annoyed. "Okay. First off, for your information, Seth. I would've showed up last night, but I got a call from my best friend, crying her eyes out because her long term boyfriend broke up with her. And then, she remembered she got her tattoo that morning, but had yet to look at it. You wanna know what her name is? Her name is Dani. And I can bet you $10 I know what your tattoo says. And I know you've got one cause I can see the end of it poking out from the shoulder of your shirt." I said, pursing my lips. "And, I'm so glad I can tell Dani that her tattoo is a complete jerk. It'll save her the heartache. Even though, she has to end up with you, at least she can know what you're like first." I added with a smirk and started to walk away but he stopped me. "Look, if you don't say anything to Dani, I'll give you Rileys number so you can apologize. Okay?" He said. "Fine." I said, fake sighing. He wrote Riley's number down and giving it to me. I thanked him before walking out. I got in the elevator and went up to my floor. I was going to be just on time. I got into my department and ran into Natalie and her boyfriend. She's got pink-ish/purpl-ish hair, brown eyes, and a fun style. She always dressed hipster and added her own Natalie twist to it. Incase you're wondering, she got her tattoo before all of us. Well, before Dani and I that is. His names Evan and he's a great guy. He's in the math department. He has jet black hair styled into a quiff, like always, and dark green eyes. He and Natalie are perfect for each other. They've been dating for almost a year now. He reminds me of Riley. Riley's got dark brown hair, styled In a quiff, sorta. He's got light green eyes, but sometimes they look brown. Now, you're probably wondering how I know this. I mean we've only just met. To be honest, I've seen him on the bus all the time and I always admired him. Natalie and i finnaly walk in after she says goodbye to Evan and I walk straight over to Dani. "So, I met your tattoo." I said. "Really?! What's he like?!" She asked me, eyes as wide as saucers. "Interesting. Verrryyyyyyyy interesting." Was all I said. She gave me a confused look but I just smirked and headed to my corner. I pulled my cello out of her case and got the bow. And yes, I did name my cello. I named her Cleo! Cheesy I know, but oh well. I sat down and started playing a piece from Phantom of The Opera I had memorized by heart. I had just hit the last note when Megan called me into her office. I put my cello down, carefully, and walked into her office. "Yes ma'am?" I said when I walked in. In reality, she's only 4 and a half years older than me, but I still call her ma'am. I'm the only one who does actually! "How would you like to perform in the winter showcase?" She asked. I just stood there, mouth open, frozen from shock. "Me? Why me?" I asked. "You have real promise Miss Smith. With both the Cello and your voice. However, for the showcase you will just be using your voice. That is, if you accept?" She finished, asking the question at the end. "I would love to!" I said and smiled. "Perfect! The judeges will pick a handful of students to go to London next year for two months to study music and art and to just have fun! The winners will also get to bring one guest with them from any department they chose." She said. "Oh, and don't worry. I'll also be asking Dani and Natalie to perform in the showcase, but that does not guarantee, however that any of you will win because there may not be a lot of people in our department, but the English department is also having competitors who are doing poems and sonnets. But, I do believe you have a great chance." She said, winking. I smiled and thanked her. London? I could go to London? London wasn't affected by the war that caused us to be the way we are. London is just like how you would imagine it to be. Perfect.
