Here's the next chapter, I hope you enjoy! ~Michelleeee xoxo

I woke up in Logan’s arms. Wait… that can’t be right. I thought… oh no. I was stark naked, as was he. I quickly sat up- or tried to, at least. The pounding in my head caused me to groan and lay back down with a frown. Why did I drink so much?

Logan must have felt me wake up, because next thing I knew, I felt two muscular arms snake around my bare waist. “Hi,” he said as I turned over to face him. “Um… what happened last night?” I asked quietly. His countenance looked serious. “Well… we were both pretty drunk, and…”

“Oh no,” I groaned, burying my face into the gray-covered pillow. Of course, the sheets matched. They were a black and gray pattern that was simple. Definitely Logan’s.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

“I was only drunk because I was mad at you. I shouldn’t have done that. And I gave you my virginity and don’t even remember what the hell happened because I was so drunk!”

“Hey,” he said soothingly, rubbing my back. “It’ll be okay. We can work it out,”

“Like we worked out the other problem so effectively?” I said crabbily, getting out of bed, ignoring the desire to crawl back in and never get out.

I looked around for my clothes, and found my panties hanging off of the fan. My bra was sitting on the windowsill. Great. I picked them up and put them on hastily.

“Ana, look,” Logan said. He was out of bed now, but went to no effort to try and find his clothes. Well, he was… big. And now it’s awkward because I think I was staring. Ugh.

“I… I’m sorry. I did overreact, and I apologize for that. But as your mate, I need you, all of you, all the time. If I don’t have you with or near me, it hurts. It really does. This last week has been torture. Surely you felt the same. And seeing you with other guys, just makes it even clearer that you’re with them and not me, and I hate that.”

I didn’t know what to say. “But they’re only friends, and that’s all they’ll ever be. You’re the only one that I can call my mate.”

I took a shaky step towards him. Then another, then another.Until I was toe-to-toe with him. I nervously put my arms around his shoulders and started to bring his face down to mine. My heart was racing.

He crashed his lips to mine without a second thought, and I smiled. We just stood there, kissing, for minutes. I didn’t want to leave his arms. I felt so protected in his arms. Like I belonged here, and I knew I could always go back there.

The moment was broken by my stomach growling. Logan laughed as my face turned red. How embarrassing. “Let’s go eat,” he said, putting a big t-shirt on me. He took my hand and led me downstairs.

Walking into the kitchen, we saw Stephen, Logan’s father, washing dishes. I suddenly felt embarrassed. It must be a strange sight, seeing the big scary Alpha Logan holding hands with me, some little teenage girl who happened to be wearing his shirt. Because that wasn’t peculiar at all…

Stephen turned around when he heard us enter. My face was burning, I could tell. He hadn’t even said anything yet! “Hello Alpha, Luna,” Stephen smiled warmly. Whoa… Luna? Logan must have noticed too, because he asked, “Dad… how did you know?” Stephen smiled. “I’ve been a part of this pack over 50 years, son. I know when I see new mates.” Logan nodded in understanding. “Would either of you like pancakes?” Stephen offered. We nodded and graciously accepted. I was starving.

Stephen served us food and then quietly exited, leaving Logan and me. “So… do you wanna give me a recap of what happened last night? I honestly don’t remember.”

Logan looked at me with an intense gaze. “Do you really want to know?” he asked in a low, raspy voice.

I gulped but nodded.

“You came home drunk. It was like three in the morning, but I was still up. I couldn’t stop thinking about you so I broke open my stash. When I was here in this kitchen drinking you away, you came in. I wasn’t sure if you were real or not actually, but I wanted to find out. You had all these hickies and it got me so pissed to know you were with other guys… so we started arguing and then I took you upstairs and we… had sex. And it was great,” he added sheepishly. I blushed furiously again, so I looked away. I needed to control that.

“Really?” I managed. He nodded, studying my face. I nodded, not sure what to make of it.

“What’re you thinking?” he asked, cupping my cheek.

“I don’t even know what happened for my first time…” I shook my head slowly, ashamed. I wanted it to be special. I could never get that back.

Logan could basically read my thoughts now, too. Therefore, he must know I was thinking that. By his countenance, he did know. “Well, we can always do it again, pretend like the first time had never happened.”

That actually didn’t sound like a bad idea. “Okay,” I breathed out.

Logan grinned, making him look like an adorable little boy. He stood up and picked me up, my legs on either side of his waist. He started kissing me like I’d never been kissed before. Wow… how could I have forgotten this? In a millisecond we were on his bed, and clothes were flying. I could definitely get used to this, I thought greedily.
