I woke up in our bed alone. I sat up and frowned. Where was Logan? I hadn’t heard him leave. It made me want to cry. He didn’t tell me anything. Was he okay? All these worrisome thoughts went through my head. I was scared. Were they after me next? My scared feelings must have been extremely strong because the next thing I know, Logan burst through the door. I gasped.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

I couldn’t talk for a moment. So much was happening. He was okay… I was just overreacting.

“You weren’t here and I got worried…” I realized how ridiculous I sounded. He didn’t seem to notice, luckily. He came over to me and picked me up, putting both of my legs around his waist. He kissed me deeply and my wolf purred.

“I’m here. I had to deal with some pack stuff,” he whispered to me.

“What kind of pack stuff?” I asked. I was Luna; I should really be more involved.

“Nothing important. How’d you sleep?”

I frowned. What wasn’t he telling me?

“Logan…” I gave him my puppy dog face, making him sigh.

He put me down and said, “There have been some threats lately, but we’re taking care of it. It’s nothing new, really.”

I nodded. “That’s it?”

“Well… and your old friend Thomas has gone missing.”

My eyebrows knitted. “Really?”

Logan nodded stiffly. I giggled at how irritated he got just thinking about my old fling. Hearing me giggle, Logan glared playfully at me before tackling me on the bed.

I shrieked and laughed as he pinned me down. He tickled my sides and I laughed like a maniac. How embarrassing. “S-stop!” I managed. He finally did, thank God, because I could hardly breathe.

“I love you,” he whispered, looking at me seriously. I smiled shyly. “I love you too.”

He kissed me softly and slowly, but I broke away after a second and ran to the bathroom.

“Anna?” he called, but I could hardly pay attention to him. My sides were churning too fast and I knew I was going to throw up. I opened the toilet and hurled. I heard Logan come in and felt him hold my hair back.

Once I was done, I brushed my teeth. I could feel Logan’s curious gaze behind me.

“Are you sick?” he asked worriedly.

“I have no clue,” I frowned. I couldn’t be sick- I didn’t feel the least bit sick.

Then I gasped. Oh no. Was I… no. I couldn’t be. I couldn’t be pregnant so soon.

Logan read my thoughts and his eyes grew wide. “Annabelle, are you…”

“I don’t know,” I breathed out with equally wide eyes.

“Let’s take you to the doctor,” he said.

I nodded, finding it hard to breathe.

Was he happy? Sad? Worried? I couldn’t tell. Did Logan want a child? It was so hard to read him sometimes. I could read his thoughts, but he seemed to be thinking about anything else. His expressions gave nothing away.

He took my hand and led me out to the driveway, where his black Land Rover was parked. He drove about 20 mph over the speed limit to the pack doctor’s house. I could hardly pay attention though. I couldn’t get it through my head. I could be pregnant…

AN:: whoaaa Anna might be preggers... :P  -Michelleeeeee xoxo
