Runaway Baby - Bruno Mars

Run, run, run away, run away, baby
Before I put my spell on you
You better get, get, get away, get away, darlin'
'Cause everything you heard is true

This was definitely not where you expected to be after having such a bombshell dropped on you.
Unfortunately, you had made the mistake of asking what the man was drawing. Which led you where you were now, standing in front of him as he roved on about this anime girl.
You tried your best to follow along, but things kept getting confusing. "Mwehehe... I see quality in you, Ms. (L/n) True quality!" A sour look forms on your face, nose scrunched and lips quirked in a gross manner. "I don't think I like where this is going..."
He waved off your worries, adjusting his glasses with his other hand. "Anyway, that's why... I've decided to present to you my lecture on the nature of fan fiction!
If we're going to be friends, you must be fully informed. I will permit no fanfic bigotry whatsoever!"
A comment about the two of you not being friends formed on your lips, quickly wiped away with your tongue. "I don't hold any bigotry for that kind of stuff you know, it's just not my cup of tea." You shrugged your shoulders, never really having gotten into fanfics.
"Basically," Hifumi took in a snort of breath, sounding similar to a pig. "we have all different kinds of stores and events, right? These are where groups of holy warriors sell their own stuff based on games, comics, anime, everything."
A small light of recognition formed in your eyes, nodding your head in understanding. "Oh, like conventions?" Your body instinctively flinched as Hifumi took in a loud gasp of air before frantically nodding his head.
His face grew slightly pink, bringing his hands to his cheeks. "I knew I was right to see quality in you!" A laugh slips from your lips, shaking your head at his enthusiasm. "Yeah, I went to some in middle school." You crossed your arms over your chest, adjusting your stance as Hifumi raised a finger into the air.
"By the way, there's a name for when a group of fanfic creators come together.
Specifically, it's any organized group that comes together to release their work." Your brows furrow at the new information, tilting your head to the side slightly. "Really?"
Hifumi nodded his head at your question, a seemingly smug smile on his lips. "Mhm! It's called a circle!" His answer didn't actually help you much, bid just confused as to why it would be called that to begin with. "Gwehehe... That's it for today. I hope you're excited for your next lesson! I can't wait to see what the future has in store for the two of us..."
A nervous laughter slipped pasted you, nodding your head and mumbling under your breath. "That future won't exist if you keep phrasing stuff like that..." Making your way to turn around, you perk up slightly at the feeling of something in your pocket.
"Oh yeah, Hifumi." You pulled out the small figurine of an anime girl, one that looked very similar to the one Hifumi was talking about earlier now that you're looking at it closer. "I got this from a weird gacha thing, I don't really want it—"
The item was snatched before you could finish, Hifumi making another one of those loud gasps that get annoying after doing it more than once. "Ms. (L/n), I can believe the luck you must possess to get such an item!" He pressed a few, uncomfortable in your stance, kisses to the figurine. "I will cherish this!"

A certain strawberry blond had caught your attention, picking her nails with a rather angry expression on her face. Usually, you would try to stay away from people in a negative mood, not wanting to affect them negatively or be affected by their upset attitude, but curiosity got the best of you.
