nct wish were getting more and more popular. each comeback earned them more and more fans, awards, and overall recognition.

it's every new group's biggest hope. that the long grueling process of being a trainee was all worth it.

that leaving their old lives, their families, their friends, their homes, was worth it.

as nct wish grew in popularity, the members started getting more oppurtunities. hosting variety shows, appearing on talk shows, and for one member, got an acting job.

Yushi was sort of awkward, shy and soft spoken on the outside, but showed incredible performance skills during his trainee days and throughout their survival show.

His powerful vocals and dance ability made him stand out, but his adorably shy and aloof personality was even more compelling.

Yushi was called into their manager's office on a random Wednesday afternoon.

he had begged sion to come with him, anxiety flooding his veins as he shakily walked down the hall.

sion kept his hand on his shoulder, reassuring him the whole time.

They sat down at the table, their manager and another man across from them.

"Yushi, thank you for taking the time to attend this meeting." the man they didn't recognize spoke warmly.

YUshi bowed his head politely.

"I'm KIm Jihoon from Star Dragon entertainment. I wanted to talk to you about potentially being cast in our new drama."

yushi's eyes went wide in surprise.

Sion's face changed to that of excitement and pride.

"uh...you...you want me?" he asked, pointing at himself.

the man chuckled.

"We sure do. your performing ability has caught the attention of several of our agents, we think you would be perfect for this role, if you're interested."

yushi's heart thumped with excitement. he'd never acted before but he'd always wanted to.

"I mean...i would love to but..." he paused picking at his nails and looking over at sion.

"What about the group?"

"No worries Yushi-ah, our agency works with idols a lot, we can schedule shooting that works with everyone's schedules."

Sion gave Yushi an encouraging smile.

"You should do it Yush, this is an amazing opportunity for you."

Yushi smiled gratefully at thye leader and turned back to the agent.

"okay... yeah, I'd love to."

again the man chuckled at yushi's cuteness.

"excellent! We are very excited to work with you. Next week, we will send you all the information and your script. then your agency will get you in contact with ours."

Yushi smiled, bowing his head.

"Thank you very much for thinking of me and for this opportunity."

"thank you Yushi, we can't wait to work with you."
