"It's taken a little over a year to be in good terms." I told my mom. "But we're good now. We're good friends."
"Do you miss being with him?" My mother asked.
"To be quite honest." I sighed. "Yes, but I like where we are. Will things change? I don't know, but for right now, I like where we stand."
"Mariana was watching your videos yesterday." My mother chuckles. "She loves them."
"Sometimes, she blames herself for fifth harmony not being fifth harmony anymore after she was born. But, me and the girls always tell her, it isn't her fault, because it really isn't." I told her.
"Mija, you will always be fifth harmony." My mother gave me a small smile. Before I can answer, the doorbell rings.
"That's Nash." I get up from my chair, and walk over to the door. I open it and a smiling Nash stood there.
"Morning." He smiled.
"Morning." I smiled back.
"Mariana! Nash is here!" I yell. Mariana comes running with her back pack on her back, and a piece of paper in her hand.
"Good morning, Mariana." Nash knelt down.
"I made you this." She handed him the piece of paper. It was a drawing of I'm guessing her and Nash.
"It's beautiful. Thank you." They gave each other a small hug, before Nash got back up.
"I wanted to take her out for ice cream after school. So we will be back around two." Nash informed me.
"Alright." I knelt down and gave Mariana a kiss on her cheek. "Be good, babe."
"Okay mommy." She said before waving goodbye to me, while her and Nash held hands, walking away to his car.
I close the door and walk back to my mother.
"He loves taking her to school." I smile.
"He still loves you, Karla." She sighed.
"Maybe. But, I don't need a boyfriend. I'm fine with being single, mami." I told her. She nodded.
"Who knows though. You two might get married and have another child." My mother laughs.
"Who knows." I start to laugh with her.
