One Love Under The Same Moon

Time for some real fun

  It was midday and Dahlia internally debated whether to call her best friend or to just continue to mope around. She had purposely shut everyone out ever since her break up with her stupid drunk of an ex. She knew the relationship was getting no where since he didn't give a damn about his future and failed all his classes as an expert in obtaining straight Fs every semester.

Dahlia thought she could help him but after a year and a half of having to baby sit him she had desperately wanted to just leave him. The only problem was that she was fond of him but even though she never got to the point of loving him she felt as if she needed to help him. She never got herself to leave him until she came over to visit him one day and walked into him with a naked blond on top of him.

  Dahlia had never felt so deceived but she didn't feel heart broken. She was angry that she was deceived after so long that she tried to help him soo.... she took out her outrage on the slutty blonde. She had grabbed the blond by the hair and dragged her out into the road and didn't give a shit that she was naked. Dahlia then went back inside and slammed the door shut behind her.

  "Baby I can explain!"

"Don't baby me you pathetic excuse of a boyfriend!"

  He began to stand up with only his pants on but before he can fully get up, she kicked him back onto the sofa and nailed her heel right in between his legs. Dahlia then turned around leaving the jerk crying out in pain.

As she had reached for the door the naked blonde was outside, fury spread across the girl's  face.

"As for you, you can keep him. Save all your bullshit 'cuz I have no time to waste on you. After all you both are meant for each other since you are both pathetic, useless, and have no life."

   Dahlia had then walked out satisfied with the offended and broken looks on both of their faces. She never cared to even acknowledge his presence when he tried to get back with her by giving her a bouquet of roses in front of the whole school. Instead when he forced the flowers on her, without even looking at him, she walked away with the flowers and threw them into the trash in plain sight of him and everyone else awaiting what her response was going to be.

As she walked to the library, she could hear the laughs of everyone taunting the popular yet stupid jock of the school.

  Now it was summer and it has been almost two months that she had used up to herself. It had been a while since she last was worry free. After that she didn't care to be in a relationship anytime soon. But now she needs to face the consequences of neglecting her best friend.

Dahlia finally picked up the phone.

"Hey, can we meet up today?"she asked cautiously, awaiting Emmy's rant. It was summer yet it wasn't the summer she thought she would have. Everyone of her friends would go out but the only problem was that she was the only one that preferred just staying in the comfort of her own home and read books almost all day as some sort of redeeming.

  "Wow! Look who decided to FINALLY call and remembered I exist!" Emmy answered far from irritated with Dahlia's choice to isolate herself. "I know you needed time to yourself but damn you didn't have to ignore me!! Cabrona! Here Here I have been worried. You haven't answered any of my 85 texts and all my calls!!"

  "I know, I know...look I'm sorry okay. I'll make it up to you. How 'bout we go somewhere you wanna go today." Dahlia said a little hesitant since she knew that Emmy wasn't going to want a nice walk at the park away from other people.

  "I know just where we are going today", Emmy said in a mischievous tone," I'll be over in thirty minutes. Take a quick shower 'cuz mommas gonna work her magic on you." And with that Emmy hung up and Dahlia knew she had no choice. After all she had braught it upon herself for one: ignoring her best friend and two: for letting her choose what they where going to do today.

*short chapter but I promise I will make it up with the next one. Hope you enjoyed so far. Dahlia's interesting isn't she? She's quiet, affable yet destructive. Emmy on the other hand is wild,loud,and a social bee. Opposites yet amazing best friends. What do you think about Dahlia's reaction towards catching her now ex boyfriend cheating on her on plain  sight? I think most girls would have probably done the same. Am I right girls? Or maybe its just somthing Dahlia and I would do.
