Teagan Jones to the side. (Shay Mitchell)

Teagan's POV

"I swear Danny if you decide to do that one more time I will be obligated to punch you in the throat." I growl at my best friend as he kept stealing my fries. We were currently sitting in the school cafeteria and I was about to drop kick a bitch.

"Well it's not my fault you got the fresh fries while I got the soggy microwaved left over fries." He whined and I gave him a sarcastic smile.

Danny Lester, impeccably annoying but I've learnt to handle it. He is certainly a beautiful specimen with his shaggy brown hair and chocolate eyes. He has plum lips with a single prominent freckle standing out on top of it. He was nice and a kind of goofy funny.

We've been friends since preschool. Bonded over skittles. Ironic how we bonded over food and now we fight over food. To say he was like a brother is an understatement.

About a year ago I went through hell and his mom was amazing. She was like the mom I've never had and I was forever in dept to him and his family.

"I guess you just have shit luck." I smiled cockily while I emphasized a bite I took out of my fry.

"Or I just have a shit friend." He muttered under his breath. He defiantly wanted me to hear faintly. Well message perceived.

"You sir have just challenged me to a battle, of the fries." I say loudly probably gaining attention leaning forward.

"If I win we swap fries and if I lose- which is highly unlikely- you keep your fries." He sad and I scoffed. I was getting hype for this battle. There is no way he is winning.

"I don't know what the hell is wrong with you two but I always seem to come in at random points of your friendship." I look over to my beautiful blonde friend Katie. I've always envied her sparkling green eyes, clear and fair complexion with long light blonde curly hair.

The reason I didn't say best friend is because I was never good at same sex friendships. She was the popular nice girl that was friendly to everyone. But she was still popular and had to conform to society's rules. She'd gossip and such even though she was really nice. I just didn't like the drama that came along with female friends hence why I stuck with Danny.

I didn't associate myself with her popular friends mainly just Danny and some if his nice jock friends. I was only popular by default. If you'd call me popular.

I was invisible. You see I was the one that doesn't conform to society. My one friend is head cheerleader and the other a jock and me. Just Teagan. Plain Teagan Jones. My only title was quirky or spunky. I had no label but I was glad, I didn't want to have one. I knew a select few people from this school. So barley anyone. Although I was Volleyball captain only like 30 in this school knew my name- and that's including the volleyball team.

"He wants my french fries but I refused so we are now duelling. So sit down and enjoy the intense scrimmage." I growl as I set my determination on my pending win. I pick out a crispy hard fry and hold it up. He pulls out his most crispy and is flops over a bit.
