"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Katie's jaw hung open once I told her about the Calum thing. I was so done with hearing her blab with her friends about me sleeping around with Calum.

"Yeah I had to take care of-" I was explaining myself making sure she understood that I didn't sleep with the arrogant asshole.

"No no no, you're fucking kidding me that you were in his bed but you didn't try anything?" She asked incredulously and I shrugged. "I know the whole thing last year with your last foster dad but you still didn't?"

I shook my head and she gapped at me. Allow me to enlighten you. The hell as I refer to it as that happened last year started when I was 10.

My birth parents and I were in the car, I obviously being in the back seat and them in the front. My dad swerved for a kid running for his ball and we ended up hitting a tree and they both died when I survived. I had no family left so I was put into foster care. I bounced around foster homes. My last home it was my late 16th year and I was only in the house for a couple months. The mom and dad were so sweet that I thought I'd be staying for longer than a couple months. I started getting closer to the dad and I started trusting him. That was until one night he beat me to where I was not able to open my eyes. He took that to his advantage and took my virginity. I still have nightmares of his dirty hands on my body.

When I went to my social worker he decided I was old enough and he took me out of the system. That's when I lived with Danny for a few months, got jobs and made a living for myself. The only people that knew were Danny and his family also Katie.

That's why I was bad with trusting people and friendships. Especially boys. The only people I could be friends with we're from before the incident. Like Luke, I had a crush on him before, we talked before, I trusted him before.

"Calum was in a vulnerable stage plus he probably had morning sex with some random chick." I said truthfully and Katie couldn't contain her laughter.

"So are you excited for the trip on Friday?" Katie said and I nodded my head vigorously. It's currently Wednesday and it felt like we were going tomorrow.

"Duh even though I haven't started packing. I was supposed to last night but I got extremely lazy and didn't." I said and Katie shook her head in amusement.

We were in English class while the teacher was just sitting at his desk doing nothing. Even the teachers fall asleep in class.

"Okay class I will put you into partners and you will discus the importance of song lyrics." The teacher read blandly out of a text book. Talk about stimulating education. Note my sarcasm.

I looked over at Katie and hoped we would be together. "Miss Matthews and Mr Damon." Ugh just my luck.

"Miss Jones and..." My ears perked up. Hopefully I'm not with a dipshit. "Mr Hood." Great a dipshit.

I looked in front on me to see the mop of black and blonde locks. He looked up at me and smiled with those perfect teeth. I had mixed feeling about him.
