Jack and I find a nice Italian place to go to. When we sit down he looks at me, "How old are you?" He asks me.
"17, why?" I ask
"When are you going to be 18?"
"In about 4 months."
"Okay." He replies.
"How old are you?" I ask him
"19."
"Oh okay."
We are both quiet for a few minutes while we look over the menu. I order the chicken Alfredo pasta and he orders the lasagna. We both eat and he asks me, "Do you want to play a game?"
I look at him, slightly confused
"It's called truth," he begins, "one person asks the other a question and the other person has to answer truthfully, when one person can't answer the question and the other person answers theirs, they win."
"Okay, you go first." I say
"Hmm, let's see." He says
"Are you a virgin?" He asks, not even flinching.
This question catches me by surprise. Why would he want to know that!?
So I look at him square in the eye and say, "No I'm not."
"Okay," he says, "your turn."
I repeat the same question to him and he says no also which makes me wonder who it was with, then I wince cause I just don't want to think about that.
"Okay, what's your favorite color?"
I stare at him. That was a super easy question, "Blue, what's yours?"
"Green." He says
"Why do you like me?" I ask
He looks at me with a smile on his face, "because your beautiful, you have a great personality, and you seem like the type of girl that is always there for her friends." He says it so matter-a-factly
I tell him why I like him and we are both quiet for a second.
"I'm really going to miss you." I say, I feel tears in my eyes, I can't cry here. I scold myself.
Jack leans across the table and kisses me again. We stay that way until the waiter, kind of awkwardly comes with our food. I have to cover my mouth so I don't laugh. When I look at Jack I see he's trying not to laugh either.
The food is amazing I mean literally amazing. But, sadly, we have to eventually leave the restaurant and go home. Jack pays for it even though I told him I had plenty of money. He told my to save it for the mall. I left a tip on the table anyway.
Once we got outside of the restaurant, Jack grabbed my hand and started leading me home.
