One Day

Chapter 8

Jack takes me to the hotel and we sit in our hotel room and talk.
We sit across from each other on the beds and I tell Jack where I'm from and why I'm here again. He listens and slowly stands up and sits next to me. He puts his arm around my shoulder and whispers in. My ear,
"Your so beautiful."
I smile as he presses his lips to mine and we stay that way for a while.
I pull away first and say,
"Save it for later."
He smiles, "later?" He wiggles his eyebrows and I laugh and blush.
Just then Emma and Caleb walk in the door hand in hand. Emma looks at us sitting on the bed together and says,
"Aw did we spoil the moment?" She smiles and I look at Jack, he's blushing. Soon I'm laughing too and then Jack and Caleb join in.
"Where did you guys end up going to lunch?" Asks Caleb
"Demi's Pasta Palace," he says, "where did you guys go?"
Caleb smiles, "The Twisted Shrimp."
"No way."
"Yes way."
I turn to Jack with a confused look on my face.
"It's a really expensive seafood restaurant."
"Ohh okay." I say.
"Well," Jack starts,"Ash and I are going to the beach would you like to tag along?" He asks, gesturing to Caleb and Emma.
Caleb looks at Emma,"Sure." He says not taking his eyes off Emma."
So with that, Jack takes my hand and leads me to the beach.

When we get down there, Jack hoists me up on his shoulders while I'm laughing hysterically. Caleb and Emma are looking at us like we're crazy. We don't care though, everyone is looking at us.
Jack lets me down and pulls me next to him on the sand.
He whispers in my ear, "I think I'm falling for you."
I look at him, "I know I'm falling for you."
He smiles at me and pulls me into a kiss. We stay that way until Caleb comes up behind us and tells us to quit it because there are kids around.
"I wish I could stay here forever," I say, "I don't want to go home, I want to be with you."
Jack gives me a small smile, he has a pretty amazing smile, "that can be arranged."
I look at him in disbelief, "Are you serious?" Mom would never let me but I am almost 18 so I could technically finish up school here and stay with Jack.
"Maybe," He says, "you could stay with my in my apartment and you could fun finish up senior year here." It's almost like he read my mind.
"I'd have to go home anyway to pack up my stuff though and you could come with." I say, practically jumping with joy.
"Sure I'll ask if Caleb and Emma want to do that too."
With that, he wanders toward them and starts talking. Emma starts smiling really big and nodding her head.
I lay on the beach and wait for Jack to come back.
I never want to leave this place.
