CHAPTER 38

Gemini stood in the hospital hallway, hand clenched into fists, staring at the floor holding his phone.

After some minutes of thinking he finally took out his phone and dialed fourth's number.

*The call connected*

Gem!? Where are you!? Where have you been? You are okey right!? Who are you with?

Gemini answerd with hesitation— I am... I'm.. with your brother.. He is hurt, i will sent you the location...

Fourth was too shocked to speak something but then he answerd in confusion— Wait? What do you mean hurt? What happened?

Just come...—Gemini.

Saying that he cut the call without hearing fourth.

20 MINUTES LATER

Meanwhile fourth has reached the hospital and he run and asked at the counter— Phi khab.. where the room 309 is?

The women showed him the way and fourth run towards the room but he stopped and he looked inside though the glass of the room.

NANON was lying on the bed, pale and unconscious, bruises in his neck and Temple, bandage.

When fourth was just about to enter he saw the two mens inside with his brother, On either side, two intimating man. OHM who was grabbing NANON's hand and looking at his face.

Bright who was standing just beside NANON crossing his arms and looking at NANON too.

Fourth whispered to himself— They don't look like doctors.. who the hell are they?

But when he looked at bright he realised he has seen this face before, the same jawline, the eyes... But he couldn't recognise him now because bright was totally in his mafia form no more that nerdy weak man.

Before fourth could think more he felt someone's presence in his back.

Fot....— Gemini called in his soft voice which he only uses for his fourth.

Hearing Gemini's voice fourth finaly came out from his world of questions.

Fourth turned back— Gem...?

He is safe... But he is unconscious— Gemini wasn't looking in fourth's eyes.

Fourth made a frustrated face and without replying to him fourth enterd inside.

He didn't even looked at OHM and Bright. He run and stand beside NANON'S bed looking at him. Tears started fall from his eyes.

Fourth gently grabbes NANON's hand and calls his name slowly— Phi.... It's me... I... I'm here na.. phi? Please- please wake up.. he was sobbing.

Fourth almost forgot the two dangerous men's inside the room. Fourth's eyes slowly went to Bright and, the same jawline, the eyes... Fourth's eyes widened in shock.

Wait a minute!

Bright's eyss with fourth. His expression were calm and unreasonable.

Fourth's voice stutterd— Phi.... *Gulped* phi wat!? Is that you?

Fourth stepped closer with tears in his eyes but still happiness in his eyes—I... Thought you were dead...

Bright— I faked it...

Fourth stopped where he was, the happiness changed into anger and frustration and he shouted at Bright— You faked you death!? You let me cry!? You let him cry... YOU LET US CRY!?

Gemini hold fourth's hand from behind— Fot.....

Fourth instently jerked his hand so hard that it was just about to hit Gemini's face.

And you! Who are hell are you huh!? I know you are not any rich kid of the school... Fourth raised his one finger and said— stop the hell pretending!

Gemini still looking down but his voice calm— I am not... I'm... Mafia...

Fourth's eyes blinked in shock— huh!?

We both are... And he too.. he is Ohm.. the mafia.. who kidnapped nan- Your brother...— Bright

Fourth's eyes widened in shock— kidnapped!? And you letting him stay with him!?  *Fourth turned silent and looked both of them and the shouted* Are you all insane!?

Bright stepped closer— Fourth listen to me na... It's not what it looked like. Yes, he took him but he never tortured him.. he loves NANON, he was fighting for him all this time..

*OHM was totally silent because he couldn't speak between them*

You expect me to believe that hu? The man... Who took my brother from me.... loves him!?

Yes and we do too... And we all did this... We fought, bleed, hunted... All just to bring your brother back.   For him and... For you..— Gemini.

Fourth looked at him with rage and betrayel.

Gemini said with his soft voice again and tried to hold fourth's hand once again— I never told you who I was... Because i didn't want this life to touch you, even if it meant lying, fourth.... *Gemini looked at fourth's eyes and he took a step closer to him, I never Stopped love you... Not for a second... Neither I regert it..

Bright— And I left because I had to. The day NANON found out the truth… He hated me. I faked Sarawat’s death to disappear because my enemies already knew I was living with you.. But when I found out NANON was kidnapped… I couldn’t stay away..

Fourth looked at bith of them, his chest was coming heavy.

It was too much, too many lies, too many truths crashing dien at once.

Fourth whispered to himself— So all of it... Everything was to protect us?

Gemini nodded— yes...

Fourth looked away wipping off his tears— Then why does it still feels like betrayel?

No one replied because they knew it was true.

Bright— Sometimes love doesn't fully comes wraped in honesty. But sometimes in the shape of lie that bleeds just to keep you safe...
