It had been three days since i last saw Rachel and i hadn't even slept a wink, i was worrying non-stop and could only think the worst. I was even getting sick from worry. She was a ray of sunshine in my dismal life and the thought that she could be dead almost killed me.

A few days later she finally turned up to school with a tired expression on her face and enough bags under her eyes to do the weekly shop with.

"Rachel, Where have you been? Ive been worried sick!"

"I went out of town for a couple of days and why were you so worried???"

"Why didn't you text me or something to let me know that you were leaving, and I'm allowed to be worried you're my friend"

"Well there was no need to worry, I'm fine"

The bell rang for class

"Come on James, let''s get to class"

"Where did you even go?"

"I went hiking with my family, Every week or so or when its sunny we go hiking."

When we got to class Mr Peers split us up because we were talking and I ended up spending the whole lesson just staring after her and wondering what she was really doing when she went away.

At the end of the day I avoided her and snuck into the computer room and Googled " Rachel Thorn" and up came about ten results which i thought was strange because there is always bound to be more than one person with the same name in the world at some point. I clicked on the first result for family trees and surely enough the Thorn family came up, here was the list of family names in descending order of age:

Victor Thorn- Father

Amy Thorn- Mother

Mark Thorn- Brother

Petricia Thorn- Sister

Ian Thorn- Brother

Rachel Thorn- (Rachel)

Erin Thorn- Sister

Sian Thorn- Sister

Now Instantly i thought that this was a coincidence that their names spelt VAMPIRES and it was just some idiot messing around so then i searched  "Hiking spots in UK"  and then no results came up, which i figured was due to the school filters, so i gave up and left school to go home.

When i got home and re-did my searches for extra measure but still no results came up, so i began texting Rachel asking her where she went hiking. When she finally replied she said "It doesn't have one", which really got me suspicious, What was she hiding????

The next day at school me and Rachel didn't really talk until geography and I completely forgot about me doing my snooping. at the end of school i walked her home but on the way back George Tellman ( The Idiot Who Broke His Arm ) got his crew of noobs to chase us through Weebling Woods whilst throwing stones at us.

We managed to get away from them and hid in a large Field of tall grass. Rachel lay down panting and i proceeded to do so as well. as i reached the ground our eyes met, they were a stunning orange and made my heart pound like a beating drum, intensifying as we leaned into each-other. She closed her eyes, i leaned in closer, our lips met. Her lips felt soft, as did the grass that we were laying on.

The kiss sent a shiver down my spine but that was when i knew that we would be together for a long time. It  was love.
