The night of sin and sorrow that is life, the pain from being living silenced in death, our minds are fragile and can sway o-so easily to the path that is not to be taken until necessary, this path is death itself.
Death is not to be taken lightly but is not always literal, For example, " A part of him was dying ". When a part of someone is dying, it means that they have gone through a very immense ordeal and are suffering emotionally and have become 'numb'.
My Mother became emotionally numb when my little sister died. When we went the water-park near where we lived, my sister, Annie, lay down on a lilo and the floated near the deep end by accident. We told the lifeguard and some of the staff to watch her while we ran to the reception to buy me some goggle. While we were in the reception, she fell of her lilo and hit her head on the ledge at the edge of the pool and knocked her clean out, this is when she began drowning.
I sprinted through the door and dived into the pool after her but the lifeguard restrained and dragged me out of the pool, i could see her sinking along with my mothers emotions. Once the guard had pulled me out he went back in for her. He brought to the surface and performed CPR. She coughed twice but she still didn't breathe, when Little Annie got to Hospital they put her on Life-Support to help her breathe and began doing Blood Tests on her.
We waited for 16 and a Half hours before they diagnosed her with a Terminal Brain Hemorrhage, which basically meant that there was no chance of her living without Life-Support.
That was by far the saddest day of my life. I still to this day don't know why death took her not me, I would never forget Annie's smile or how she was always extremely Optimistic (apposed to me who is extremely Pessimistic). Annie always knew that there was a brighter side to life, she was extremely bright for a girl of only 6 years old, I was only 8 when she died and now its six years later and its still impacting my life.
After Annie's death my dad began beating me saying that " you should have died, not her, your nothing and your not nearly as smart as Annie was.", my mother divorced my father and made himleave the house. the reason im so interested in school is to prove to my father that I'm not stupid.
Yesterday Rachel told me she was going swimming with her dad so when she didn't dhow the next day naturally i was worried. I had only known her a day and now i fear she might be dead.
