Chapter 7

Luke's P.O.V.
It's been a while since Hailey got out of the car. Maybe I should go check on her? But she wouldn't want me too. Hell, I'm going anyways. I hop out of my car (get out me car HA) and lock it back. I start walking in the direction she walked and I see Michael on the ground, saying profanity under his breathe and it looks like he's crying too! "WHAT HAPPENED MICHAEL?" I exclaim running over to him, helping him sit up. "Hailey..." His voice shaky and quiet "Calum and Ashton took her. Leave me here, she matters more." I toss him my phone. " Dial 911, I'll go find her!!!" I say running off. I pray she's okay. I search everywhere, but no sight of her. That's when I hear screaming and sirens. I run towards the scream to see Hailey kicking and crying. Calum tried holding her down has Ashton reaches for her jeans. Hell no she is not going to be raped. "HEY SHITBAGS, SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT TWICE BEFORE DOING THAT." They turn they're heads as I run in and throw punches at them. Coming back at me I feel my stomach being punched, as well as my face. I don't care, I need to save Hailey. "Go hold the slut down before she gets away!" Ashton growled at Calum. That's it. I punch as much as I could to knock Ashton down. 1 hit, 2 hits, 3 hits... He falls to the ground. I run after Calum who's carrying Hailey someplace. I'm not letting this happen, Luke, not today, not any day. I hear police close behind. For once Michael has done something right. Calum starts to slow down as Hailey keeps kicking and screaming (All Time Low aye aye) and I catch up. I can tell she won't stop fighting. I grab her arms and Calum stops and turns around. By now it's a tug-o-war with Hailey as the rope. Until I kick Calum in the family jewels. He drops to the ground and I have Hailey in my arms now. She cries into my shirt with loud sobs and I hold her as tightly and closely as I could. "It's alright, you're alright, you're going to be fine." I say trying to calm her down. "WHAT ABOUT MICHAEL?" she practically screams "IS HE OKAY, IS HE HURT, IS HE GOING TO DIE?" She cries ever more. "He is all right, let's focus on you right now." It comes out of my mouth softly as paramedics rush towards us, taking Hailey out of my grasp. She's put on a gurney and inspected with only a few cuts and bruises. Calum walks by in handcuffs murmuring who knows what and police telling him to be quiet. Michael comes walking up with ice and band aides all over him. "Nice job, Michael." He seems to completely ignore my comment as he goes to check on Hailey. "Michael! Oh my gosh, are you okay?" She asks crying more and hugging Michael. I still don't trust Michael what so ever.

Michael's P.O.V.
"Michael! Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Hailey blurts out crying and then hugging me. I didn't expect that, but I hugged back. I'm falling for her each day. I'm so glad she's okay. "I'm fine, but it's really are you okay?" I whisper hugging her tighter. I'm so happy she isn't hurt, I'm so happy she isn't dead, I'm so happy she wasn't raped. "I'm okay" She says unsteadily. "You'll be alright. You're going to be fine. I'm sorry for that. Calum and Ashton threatened my life if I didn't do that. I'm so so so so so sorry." I blurt out, tears streaming down my eyes. She hugs back even more. She's going to be okay.

~two weeks later~
I haven't really seen Hailey since the accident. I've seen her in school, but we couldn't talk. I've asked Luke how she's doing. He says that she's okay, she's having to spend the night at his house because she always gets night mares and always cries hysterically after and that's how she falls asleep too. He also said she's scared to anywhere without him. It seems like she's still in shock and in a daze. Her parents found out but haven't called or came home. Luke also says that she'll only talk to him but barely and doesn't eat much too. Every time she hears my name she cries apparently. I don't know if that's good or bad. I want to talk to her, but I don't want to hurt her anymore. Maybe I should just ask Luke what I should do. He always helps her. The way he seems to be talking to me is that I harm her something. That's the last thing I want to do. I'm catching feelings for her...

so yea basically Michael was forced and threatened by Ashton and Calum and would have taken Hailey too and so what he did was good. It could have gone worse. and then Hailey basically cries into Luke's shoulder all the time and he's basically a protector now to her because she is scared out of her mind.
