Part Three

The LSD wore off after about six hours, which was saddening for both of them. Currently Kylie was looking for mushrooms, and Luke sat on her couch watching whatever was playing on the TV.

"Aha!" Kylie shouted from her bedroom which was upstairs. She ran down the steps with a baggie of minced mushrooms. I fisted them into the air smiling as she poured two glasses of wine to mix the spice in with.

"You're of age to drink right?" Kylie asked, knowing that if he was or not he would still receive a glass of wine. So far, Kylie liked Luke, not in a like like way, but as a friend. He did the shit she usually did just for her, he obviously wouldn't have done drugs for his mom, or even his girlfriend, if he had one.

"Turned 22 three months ago." He said. Kylie nodded at him before continuing to pour the mixture in the drink.

"Ah turned 22 two weeks ago." She smiled as she handed Luke the cup of red wine after she stirred it. He gladly took the drink, and began to drink it slowly savoring the taste.

"Never had wine like this before, and I go to a lot of wine tastings." He said softly. He wasn't complaining because it was good wine.

"They don't make it anymore," Kylie began, "my grandma and grandpa gave about three bottles of it, because it was their homemade wine. They made it, and it happened to sell a lot." Kylie informed Luke, taking a drink of her wine after.

"Why don't they make it anymore?" Luke asked.

"They passed." Kylie said looking down at her toes she got done the other day, freshly painted black with a white flower.

"Oh my god, Im sorry Kylie I didn't know." Luke reassured before getting up from the couch and pulling her in to a hug. She nodded in reply, and gave Luke a sad smile before hugging him back and sniffing in to his chest.

A little while later, the two were gone, and by gone, I mean totally drugged and crazy.

"The wall is trying to eat me!" Luke shouted before running to the middle of the room to get as far as possible. Mushrooms had these affects on quite a lot of people, and a bunch of other trippy shit.

"Oh my god theres a flying triangle." Kylie said looking at the ceiling before feeling that she was on cloud nine. In just a few minutes she forgot about her life and focused on something that didn't even exist. Her escape.

Kylie giggled as Luke sat down in the middle of the room. She walked over to him and sat on him in a playful matter. She then shifted herself so her head was laying in Luke's lap and her legs on her rug. Luke immediately began to play with her hair, seeming the walls weren't scary anymore. He began to plait it, messing up a few times but that was okay because Kylie's hair looked nice messy, not even Luke could deny it.

"I really want some more of that wine you gave me." Luke whispered, as he saw random designs in her hair that weren't real. He saw non-existent freshly picked flowers, but he knew he was hallucinating from that. 'She looks so beautiful' Luke thought, and he swore he saw a goddess, and he only met her 5 hours ago that day. He slowly leaned in a kissed her forehead, before he saw that her eyes were closed and she had fallen asleep.

"Sleep tight love." He said before laying down next to her, and pulling her small waist in to his grasp, pushing her against his chest in a calming matter.

And they both fell asleep on the rug, together.
