Locke, Flynn and Iris were sitting outside of the holding cells talking about what they should do.

“Can’t we just send them back to Morgona Mars?”  Iris asked, staring blankly at the six angry Resurrected Gallfinaens who were baring their teeth at her.

“So that they can live a miserable life where they are never remembered?” Flynn said sarcastically. “Not going to happen.”

“Why not, they don’t seem too intelligent anyways. Their way of life is violence and survival.” Locke pointed out with a look of disgust as he stared at the primitive beings inside the cell.

Flynn turned and looked at Locke angrily, “Exactly, they would be treated like strangers by their own people for… ever.

“We can’t be sure.” Locke stared back at Flynn with a cold glare.

Flynn turned to look at the Gallfinaens in the cell, “We can’t. It’s too cruel.”

Iris was getting annoyed by the two’s bickering. It was only Locke, Flynn, and her in the room. Wire had gone off to repair his T.S.T and Korwyn went to help.

“Why did we even bring them here?” Iris asked to nobody in particular. She was surprised to feel Flynn and Locke’s angry glare at her back. “Uh… What’s wrong?”

“I had no choice! The T.S.T teleports everything back to base that is within a five meter parameter. If I didn’t throw the disks at them, they may have just killed us in the teleport chamber and then be free to rampage and destroy the Core.” Flynn explained with an anger that Iris wasn’t used to.

Locke snorted. “You never have a choice do you?” He sneered rudely.

Flynn swiveled on his foot and stared down at Locke who stood a foot and a half below him, “What did you say?!”

Iris sighed, she knew that there was no way to stop the two from quarrelling and she had a feeling that Wire and Korwyn were aware of that, explaining why they were so eager to fix that T.S.T.

Suddenly, Iris felt a chill run down her spine. “That sound…” She whispered. She had no idea what it meant and it felt like something or somebody else had taken control over her body for only a few second and said it.

“What are you doing?!” Flynn exclaimed, turning away from Locke and their shouting match. Iris was slowly walking towards the holding cells. Her legs looked stiff and her movements were off.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Flynn jumped over the protective railing of the viewing centre for the cells and ran to Iris with Locke following closely behind. Flynn and Locke reached Iris with ease due to her lagging movements. Flynn grabbed her shoulders and tried to pull her back but it seemed she was determined to keep moving towards the cells.

With a strong pull, Flynn made Iris face him and both he and Locke jumped back in surprise. Iris’ usual, steel gray eyes were now a hazy purple. “Listen to them. They are crying. You treat them like zombies and mindless creatures… but they are alive.

“What’s wrong with you newbie?!” Locke exclaimed as Iris pushed out of Flynn’s grip and restarted her trek to the holding cells. Locke and Flynn were becoming nervous because the closer Iris got, the louder the howls of Gallfinaens became.

As Iris reached the door of the holding cells, seemingly unable to hear the blaring howls, Flynn jumped in front of the keypad and pushed Iris back with all of his strength. Iris stumbled backwards and was about to hit the metal floor. Locke ran to her and picked her up by the shoulders with a lot of effort. “What were you thinking Flynn?!” He shouted as he brought Iris back to her feet.
