When I finally here the last bell ring, it's music to my ears! I race to my locker get everything I need and head to the school bus. As I go to take my normal seat Megan was already there, and she definitely had her hands full! As I go to sit by her she squeals with joy! "What's going on Megan?" I ask.
She happily replies, "There's going to be a school dance this Friday!" "Oh I guess that's cool." I say. I didn't care for that sort of thing but I went along with it anyways. "I'm so excited I'm totally going dress shopping today! And I know this isn't really your thing, but would you like to come along?" She asks. "Sure I'll just have to ask my mom." I reply.  "Sounds good! I can't wait to go!" She exclaims.
As we get to my stop I can't wait to hear the whole entire story of the moving thing. As I enter the house I see my mom and dad sitting in our living room waiting for me and my sister to arrive. As I enter, my older sister Missy is right behind me. Our parents instructed us to sit down, and we obeyed. "Kids as we told you this morning we are going to be moving to California." My mother says. "Why are we even moving there?!" Missy rudely cuts mom off. "Well I was going to have your father tell you." My mother replies. My father continues on, "We're  moving to California because, I got a job offering to be a director in Hollywood!" "That's great dad! When are we moving there?" I ask. "Well kids I know you're excited to be moving to Hollywood we will be living in a apartment until your dad gets the money, then we'll buy house. And we will need to be moved out of this house by Saturday morning." My mom says. Missy gets up and screams,"But the dance is Friday night at 7 o'clock! I'm not missing a dance!" My mother kindly says,"Oh fun I remember my first dance. I'm pretty sure you kids can both go." As Missy starts talking about the dance it reminds me that Megan wanted to go dress shopping with me today! "Hey mom, can I go with Megan to go dress shopping today?"I ask. "Well of course you can." I thank my mom and head upstairs and get ready to go dress shopping with Megan.
