chapter 4

We arrived at school at quater past eight redy for the bell at half past eight. We walked in through the gates and a girl came up behind us and hung her arm around sam. She had long brwn hair that came down to bottom of her rib cage , she had mud brown eyes. "Hi sam" "hi Julie"sam said after a sigh. Julie nugded sam a bit and he just stared at her . "oh sam you so rude" she turned to me "hi I'm julie i'm one of sam's closest friends" "hi I'm may i'm Sam's adoptive sister" her jaw dropped . "since when " she asked "yesterday." She looked at sam "and why haven't you told me , I would be bragging by now" she told him " um...." He said hesitantly " I will speak to you later" he spoke under his breath" and she gave him a slight nod. " May" I looked around to see who it was. Abbi then came running over towards us with Thomas trailing behind. "When did you meet her" julie questioned "yesterday, me and thomas met her in the shopping center then I went shopping with her" Julie's jaw dropped again . "Am I the last person to know this" "no Trent doesn't know yet" sam said answering Julie's question. "Who's Trent " I asked " he's my best friend " sam answered " huh I thought that I was your best friend" julie said with a pout" there was a awkward siolence " fine then May's my best friend then right may. " I hesitated for a moment "uh... yeah." She smiled at me and I gave a small smile back. Abbi walked closer to me " so how have thing been with you two" I looked up at her"um.. uh.." " May we need to go to the office to get your time table" I sighed with relief when sam said that, I nodded at him and we walked of. We came to a office and sam nocked on the door and a tall woman came out . she had long bleach blond hair that came just below her shoulders and electric blue eyes. " you must be the new girl , May right " I nodded slightly , she handed me a price of paper . " that's you time table , we got you and sam in some of the same classes but not many but you are in the same classes with Julie, she's a nice girl , one of Sam's friends have you met her" I nodded "you don't talk much do you" I smiled at her . never talk much two people I don't know that well I very shy , but for some reason I'm not with sam its strange its like I have a connection two him , oh well I dont think to much of it. She stared at me then back at sam then to me " oh, your mat---" small cut her of shaking his head. I looked at him confuses , he just smiled back at me. Then the bell went and broke the silence and me and sam walked out the door. I looked down at the peace of paper the teacher had given me to see what I had first, I had history. " what do you have first sam asked "history" I replied he looked at the peace of paper " I have English so I'll walk you there" I smiled at him and we came to my history room."Julie has history now as well" I smile at him and walk in . I walked over to Julie but I was stopped , maria had grabbed my wrist and pulled me to face her " I told you to stay away from him" she said with anger boiling in her eyes, I fenced slightly when I heard her voice but I wasn't going to be cornered in a corner . "and didn't I tell you why I couldn't " her eyes flickering red and I knew I was defiantly not seeing things. " Maria you are only taking you anger out on her because sam broke up with you" she glared at Julie and turned around with a huff and walked of. " thanks you saved me there" she smiled at me " what are best friends for " I smiled at her. Our teacher walked in and told us to take a seat and Julie gestured for me to sit next to her and I did. I loved history in my old school we were learning about myths and legonds and if there was truth behind them, I remember one about a king and queen who had a daughter and the day they were murdered they sealed her power in a tree to protect her and this tree was known as the ever lasting tree because it never wiltered and it never lost its leaves no matter the time of year. The bell rand again and I had my next class maths I didn't mind maths but I wasn't very good at it but the teacher helped me understand because they had covered more stuff than my old school and sam tried his best to help two but I just didn't understand it. The rest of the day was alright but I couldn't weight to get home and flop down on my bed they were far more in front that my old school and I found it hard to catch up. Its finally the end of the day and me and all my new friends met up at the front gate ready walk home but me and sam take the car. "Um sam I just need to talk for a moment with Julie for a moment will you tell Charles the driver that I won't be long and abbi and Thomas do you mind waiting with may for a moment" they nodded and and sam and Julie walked away to talk in private .

Sam's POV
"What do you need to talk to me about" julie asked . " May's my mate" I could have sworn that her jaw hit the ground when I said that when she recovered from the shock she asked me "who else knows ,did you tell may , you parents" "no , no one knows except you not may and not my parents" I could see how happy she was to hear she was the only one who knows was her. "Waight, Mrs Jones from the office knows" her smile dropped when I had said that " you told her , why " I didn't tell her she just knew , she almost told may" her smile returned slightly because she knew I was the first person I had told. It was silent for a moment before she spoke again " weight a moment , she's human isont she, how is that possible" I shrugged " I have no idea this has never happened before" "sam " I heard may call " Charles said that Amelia said that we had to go home straight from school" " okay I shout back at her ." Julie told me one more thing before I made my way back to the car " when are you going to tell her" " I don't know , I think it might to tell my parents first ,they might have always been good with things like this, and they might be able to tell my why my mate is human even though no one has ever had a human mate before in our history" I gave Julie a quick smile before we both walked back.
