Chapter 3: What a day...

"I'm gonna to swwwwwinnng from the chandelieeeer, from the chandelieeeeerr!" Sam belts out. I laugh at his enthusiasm. I still have no clue on where he is taking me. It's been at least fifteen minutes. Atleast.

Sam looks over at me and smiles widely, "You have to sing or I won't tell you where we are going," he commands,

I snort and look out the window at the passing trees, "You wouldn't tell me, even if I did sing,"

He smiles even wider before answering, "That is true. But if you sing... I'll get you ice-cream,"

My head snaps towards him, "One scoop of Bubblegum and one scoop of cotton candy?" I ask.

"One scoop of Bubblegum and one scoop of cotton candy," he confirms, "So! Will you sing now?" Oh dang it. I forgot about that.

"Do I have to sing?" I slouch down in my seat, hoping he'll say no.

"Yes." Well there goes all my hopes. Reluctantly I open my mouth to sing but 'Chandelier' stops playing and commercials fill my ears. "Ha!" I smile victoriously at him. He looks at me amused.

"You realize there is going to be another song in a few minutes, right?" I smile slowly fades and I make an 'O' with my mouth.

We sit quietly in the car waiting for the boring commercials to end. In a few minutes 'Shut Up and Dance' starts to play. Sam looks over at me expectantly when we get to a red light. I shift uncomfortably under his gaze and awkwardly wait for the singer to start singing. I take in a shaky breath and start to sing, "Oh don't you dare look back. Just keep your eyes on me." I hesitantly sing.

I loose my concentration when Sam starts to sing, "I said, 'your holding back'. She said," OOOH! I get what he's doing!

"Shut up and dance with me!"

"This women is my destiny, she said,"

"Ooh-ooh-hoo, Shut up and dance with me." I finish the chorus and we burst out laughing.

"That. Was. Awesome." Sam says between laughs. I nodded my head as we continued to laugh.

A loud horn makes both of us jump in our seats. I look in the side-view mirror and see someone get out of the vehicle behind us. Out of the car comes a hulk resembling man, "Sam," I say going into panicking mode.

"Yeah?" He says not realizing Hulk is now stalking towards our car. I look forward and see that the light that was once red is now green.

"Drive!" He hits on the gas pedal seeing the light as well. I look in the side-view mirror and laugh my butt off at the guys expression.

"Why are you laughing?" Sam chuckles.

"Hulk," I start gulping for air, "flipped us the middle finger." Now Sam is the one laughing.

"Hulk?" He says trying to contain his laughter.

"Yes!"

"Very mature," he says sarcastically, rolling his eyes at me.

"Who said I was?" I giggle and he shakes his head disapprovingly, "So..." Sam looks over at me, "Are you going to tell me where we are going?" I plead. He stays silent and looks back to the road a grin forming on his face, "Sam," he says nothing, "Saaaamm," nothing, "Sammy!" Argh! "Samster!" I raise my voice. "Oh!" I shriek excitedly. "Hamster! Your new nickname!"
