Toji POV

I've been watching you, did you know that? Rumors abounded from the day you returned. You are Kamo's prodigal daughter, the final scion of Noritoshi Kamo, their eternal shame. They reviled you and your kin, the sin of your lineage so great they tossed you aside. All until the day you returned. Those sniveling old cowards all tucked their tails between their legs and, through gritted teeth and bowed heads, welcomed you back.

I suppose they didn't have much of a choice; you were blessed with everything they desired. Of all inherited techniques at the fingertips of the great clans, yours was the most fearsome of all. I bet there wasn't a single day when you ever felt dread or worry, so absorbed in the future you thought was in your grasp, you surely felt invincible. Kamo, you never enhance your body unless it's necessary, especially now when you're running on fumes. Reckless, even an amateur wouldn't do something like that. But you don't care that the curse technique means you can act as arrogantly as you please.

Someone like you could never imagine someone like me existing. Those futures you must've seen, the fate you are a slave to, none of it matters to me. You aren't like that other brat; even if you turned your eyes to me, you wouldn't see a thing.

Tendrils of smoke wafted from the barrel of my pistol, the thunderous echo of the shots still filling the cavernous lair of Tegen, only to be swallowed up by the sound of two bodies thudding against the hallowed ground. A smile crept on my face as I watched Kamo's death throws. She clawed at her bleeding chest, her words replaced by anguished gurgles as blood filled her mouth. Her fading eyes, now a dull gray, flitted between the Vessel and her remaining classmate. She couldn't muster the strength to

A bullet through the heart and one through the neck; I should've just shot her through the head along with the Star Plasma Vessel. Shame she's so much taller than her; I could've saved myself a bullet. Whatever, she's as good as dead in her state. Just using her technique will be beyond her; without the reversed cursed technique, it's just a matter of seconds now. I knew I was getting back into this. Still, it feels a bit anticlimactic. Oh well, the Vessel's dead along with the two heirs, so no point in complaining.

I took a few steps forward while that boy muttered Kamo's name under his breath, unwilling to accept reality even as the mingled blood of both girls reached his shoes. He's the one with Cursed Spirit Manipulation. What the hell was his name again? It was in the file, right? Eh, whatever; his technique just seems tedious compared to the other two. I might as well see if I can call it early today. "Okay, my job's done now. You can get out of here."

"Why are you here...?" The brat growled with thinly veiled contempt, his eyes practically boring a hole through me as he tore them off his fallen comrades. He was trembling with rage and confusion, visibly wincing as he heard the dying gasps of his classmate as she clawed herself towards the Star Plasma Vessel with what remained of her strength.

It can never be too easy, "Why do you ask? Oh, I get it. Because I killed Satoru Gojo as well." I replied with a coy grin, tugging at my lips.

"I see... then die!" That thin mask that veiled his anger shattered, and with it, the air behind him allowed a black, inky mass to escape from the fracture and give form to a curse. He dropped into a combat stance, sending his curse at me, a large dragon seemingly.

Is this all? A bit underwhelming for a curse. Is this even a special grade? I didn't move a muscle even as the serpentine dragon coiled itself and bore down on me, clasping my body between its maw. It crashed me into the floor before ascending back into the air, putting as much space between me and the dying Kamo as possible.
