CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

Sorry for the late post, hopefully everyone saw my last announcement. If not – I basically had a chapter written out and scrapped it last minute since it wasn't clicking, lol. Ty for your patience <333

Additionally, I've been working on the actual wanted poster so that people can get an idea of how it looks, at least how I imagine it to look. I've thrown it up here to show everyone, as its been previously posted in the discord as well.

**Just so you all are aware, this story strictly remains a reader-insert story, and I am by no means trying to shove a character design down your throats. I know that tends to bug people, so I wanted to make that clear here.

The girl in the photo is just an idea of the 'character' that I personally imagine when writing the story. I wanted to be able to make art that corresponds with the story, and I didn't really love the whole 'grayed out persona' that people usually use for (Y/n), so I've made this character as a sort of stand-in so that I can do so, purely for funsies. 

By no means does this character have to represent you as the reader, as it is completely up to you as to what (Y/n) looks like while reading, and I'd hate to ruin your immersion or anything... Just something to keep in mind, as there will likely be more posting of this character in the future if I decide to share more art here.

"Do you feel anything yet?"

"U-Um, no... I don't think so."

"...How 'bout now?"

Luffy had been asking questions like these for the majority of our time spent with necks bent over the side of the boat. For nearly twenty minutes we'd been staring down at listless waters, the only thing looking back at us being that of our reflections – But the end goal was to have a fish in their place.

Sanji had mentioned this morning that Ivory's food supply was reaching the point of a much needed restock. The chef could make enough batches of homemade cat food to last us the next couple of days, but otherwise advised that it would be in our best interest to start fishing now before we had the misfortune to run out.

I agreed with this sentiment, wanting to be prepared since Ivory's care was vital at this stage with him being so little. While I sought out the proper tools and materials that would be needed to complete the task, an idea struck – remembering Luffy's delight after I'd sprung the idea upon him to go fishing together in order to catch the kitten's food – I timidly sought out The Captain to see if he had any interest...

"Oh, yeah!" Luffy jumped up from his 'special-spot' (The Going Merry's figurehead) when I'd come over with two of the rods in one hand, with a bait bucket in the other. "I almost forgot about that– We have to catch some fish for Bones, right?"

Bones? ...Was he talking about Ivory?

"But I want some for lunch, and dinner, too!" The Captain seizes a rod for himself, fists clenched in excitement, completely glossing over the strange name. "And maybe a quick snack before then!"

"Oh, you guys are fishing?" Usopp chimed, having overheard the conversation. "That sounds fun, can I join?"

I turned to the Sniper, who's already marching over readily, the word 'sure' on my lips. I didn't mind, especially considering that we were using his fishing gear. We'd just need to grab another rod, before–
