Tap! Tap! Tap!

The tapping noise continued to sound as I tried to sleep. I finally opened one eye to see Blue with headphones on and reading a magazine. She was dancing and tapping her foot in time with the beat, with her back facing me.

"Blue," I croaked.

She continued dancing and reading her magazine.

"Blue!"

She jumped and dropped the magazine she was holding and faced towards me.

"Oh good morning sleepy head!" She chirped while removing the headphones from her ears.

I sat up on what seemed like the couch and tried to remember why the hell I'm sleeping here and not my bed.

I came home, took a nice bubble bath, I glance over at the book sitting next to me. I must've read until I fell asleep on the couch.

"You took a long bubble bath last night, wanna tell me what's going on?" Blue raised one eyebrow while sitting across from me.

Oh you know, Calum's getting married to a girl whom I've never met before.

"I was feeling a bit tired and wanted to take a nice bath," I lied.

"Violet, how stupid do you think I am? I know that when you take long baths something's wrong, now tell me," Her voice softened as she sat down beside me.

"Blue, would you believe me when I tell you that Calum's getting married?" I spoke carefully?

"Married?!" She yelped as she stood back up in shock.

I nodded and began to fiddle with my fingers.

"Vi- what the hell man, married?" Blue continued to say married as if she just could believed what I had told her.

"I met his bride yesterday, and she's totally his type," I mumbled.

"Type?"

"Oh you know, long hair to play with, fair skin, loves to wear vans and sunglasses indoors," I blabbered on.

"Sunglasses indoors?" She snorted.

"Totally Calum material" I whispered.

"But you're his bestfriend? Why did you now meet her?"

I just shook my head, because I didn't even know the answer to that question.

Loud knocking on our front door had interrupted our conversation and I already knew that it was Calum himself.

"Shit, Blue please tell him I'm not home, Blue please," I begged.

She nodded as she went to go answer the door.

I jumped behind the couch with my pillow in my hand, not so sure why, but I just did.

From here I could hear their conversation, and I was really hoping that after all these years that Blue spent majoring in drama and acting that Calum would actually believe her.

"Hey Calum," Blue chirps in a casual tone.

"Blue, I know she's here just let me in please," He pushes his way past Blue and makes his way into the living room.

Darn it!

I stay crouched hoping he won't see me.

"Indigo you know I could see you from a mile away with that amazing mane of yours," He grins.

I stand up in defeat but I don't let go of the pillow that's currently in my hand.

"Calum, you need to leave please," The words just come right out.

"Wait what? Indigo if this is about Hail-"

"I said out Calum!" Gosh here come the tears, why the heck am I crying?

"Indie, why are you crying?" His voice as soft as ever as he takes a step closer to me.

"Calum, stop please," I let out a small sob.

Indigo why the hell are you still crying?

"Indie, please." He whispers softly.

I turn quickly on my heel and literally run towards my room and shut the door.

"Calum, you need to leave," Blue instructs him and I already know she's making her way towards my room.

I hear the front door slam with extra force, just as Blue walks in with two tubs of cookie dough ice cream with matching spoons.

She gives me a sad smile and hands me the ice cream before making her way towards my television. She presses a few buttons and before I know it the familiar voice of Katara from "The Last Airbender" is giving her opening speech.

Literally so touched by Blue's actions as we cuddle and eat our ice cream, but for some reason I just couldn't figure out the answer to this question,

Why couldn't I stop crying?
